    This video helped me a lot. Thank you! I was getting to do different size images for the different size shirts (S - 2XL). The stress level has dropped dramatically. What you said really made a lot of sense. But I will have to create smaller sizes for the youth and toddler shirts.

  • @transferexpress

    Absolutely! We're so glad we could help out, and yes, it does drop the stress and complexity with the differing sizes. The Youth/Adult split is typically the most common difference in sizing, and depending on the artwork the toddler shirts may be able to be the youth size as well. But those toddler/onesies have very small print areas. Happy Pressing!

    Would staying at the same design size be a good idea for school shirts as well? I would think a 10x10 would be too big on a small shirt. Would you place the design higher up..2 in down instead of 3 inches? How far down would you place a name on the back of the shirt?

    This is exactly what I was looking for!! Thank you for answering my question. I have an order that ranges from small to 4xl same design. Would I use the same size 11x14 for all of the sizes including the 3xl and 4xl?

  • @transferexpress

    @transferexpress

    Жыл бұрын

    Awesome Pamela, we're so happy we could help out! We would recommend the same 11 x 14 sizing all the way up, including those 3X and 4X garments. just compensate the placement slightly lower like how we show here for the larger sizes.

    Does a heat press struggle or is it incompatible with shirts larger than 2XL?

  • @transferexpress

    @transferexpress

    Жыл бұрын

    Nope, I've printed 5XL shirts on this exact heat press we use here in this video. Worth a note: some of the larger sizes take a little bit more time to be sure it's straight on the heat press with the extra shirt fabric on the sides of the platen, but the same concepts we show here apply to any size 3XL+

    Okay i wanna ask for suppost S-2xl we should keep same distance if not bothering from neck line like if 3 inches down from neck line for S same goes for all sizes? No 2 if 3 inches down from nech looks good on small right above hoodies pocket thats fine but same 3 inches down in big sizes leaves alot of space above the pocket of hoodiee then can we do 4" down from neck for big sizes ? Can we in crease space from neck for big sizes as per design?

    If u want to make different screen small size logo for small apparel. What size we should consider for smaller as per rule? S and M? Or S or Xs? Point is where m goes WITH L XL OR S

  • @transferexpress

    @transferexpress

    9 ай бұрын

    For the switching point I usually reserve that for the Youth/Adult gap, maybe loop XS into the youth then, but as we show at the end here, this large graphic looks great on all sizes.

  • @transferexpress

    @transferexpress

    9 ай бұрын

    Yes, for larger garments you definitely start to bump the placement down. You'll notice on the placement in this video here at 06:36 that I mention on the XS placement we're placing the graphic higher, and at 08:31 we're in that 3 finger range (about 2.5") down from the bottom of the collar.

    Each size scales differently depending on the specific garment, If you adjust each down the 1/2 inch or so like we show in this video you'll have great results!

    Fantastic question Ellie! Circle designs are a little tricky, and typically sized down from the 11" standard (and 11" circle on a standard center-chest looks VERY large on just about any size) Something right around 9-9.5" would look great on sizes from M-2XL locked into the same print size just like we did here in this video.

    What is the Length for the transfers

  • @transferexpress

    @transferexpress

    The length of the main graphic printed here is 11.05". So from edge to edge it's 11.5" wide x 11.05" high.

    What's the standard size for the back logo?

  • @transferexpress

    @transferexpress

    3 ай бұрын

    For a back logo the same general guidelines here can be followed, 11" wide fills the space nicely. For larger, full-back projects you can increase the size up to 12" wide if needed.

  • @transferexpress

    @transferexpress

    Typically you'll be constrained by the shoulder/sleeve seams on your width before you reach the bottom hem of the garment. Even XS size adult tee's can accommodate a 20" tall graphic.

    What If it was on a hoodie?

  • @transferexpress

    @transferexpress

    3 ай бұрын

    Great question! On hoodies the same principles we cover here would apply, just ensure your design height fits on the space between the collar and the top of the pocket seam (typically 10-11 inches, depending on the garment sizes on your order)
