In 2002, after the implementation of Bacoma trawl, the Baltic Sea trawl fishermen could witness of a clear decrease in the catch rate of under-sized cod. Since 2006-2007, however, the by-catch rate of small cod has started to increase - again. Is there something that can be done to turn the course of events this time?
