Hey I just have a little message for the whole family, but especially for Hannah. So I just turned 23 a few days ago and I've recently been feeling a lot of anxiety about getting older. My personality and a lot of my interests are still what you'd call "childlike". Like I'm told I still have that disposition that kids have that you're supposed to ditch in order to "grow up". So I've been feeling a lot of pressure to conform with what society says people my age are supposed to be. But seeing Hannah, who's a year older than me and still full of that youthful wonder, has made me feel a whole lot better about the whole growing up thing. So thanks Hannah

as long as you're handeling normal responsibilities and you're not having issues with day to day activities then it doesn't really matter what your personality is! Its so refreshing to be around people who have that type of happiness about them and you will find people who love u for just the way u are!

It would be a dull and boring world if we were all the same, would it? Find friends who appreciate you just the way you are & don't let what "the world says" allow you to feel any pressure at all.❤️😊

Obed looks like such a fun person to hang out with especially with his personality

Obed is such a beautiful child. I don't know if this makes me sound crazy but this whole video I just wanted to reach right through my phone screen and give him a big hug or high five or whatever he will allow. I have known plenty of other kids who would NOT have the patience to sit through that! He was just so chill and happy, and so darn cute besides. Thank you guys again for sharing your beautiful family. You just keep reminding me of the world's beauty and why I need to keep pushing through my final semester of undergrad coursework so I can work for a little and get into grad school.

This was a real enrichment experience for Obed. He did so well getting casted for his new AFOs. Mom definitely deserves a day off.

Good evening! Im currently in OT school and we are working on casts, splints, AFOs, braces, ect. This was such a fascinating video and I appreciate you “taking” us into the room with you and Obed while he gets fitted. Curious to hear your perspective on medical professionals who do not talk directly to your non-verbal children, rather talk to you only. I never miss a video and enjoy every upload! Thanks!

I think that it’s important for care providers and medical personelle to verbally warn/ communicate everything to the child they are working on wether or not you Er a response. I ALWAYS assume full comprehension and want to show respect always!

my mom works as an IE(H)P and I have her watch some of these with me cause we enjoy your personality and family so much. she wanted me to tell you "thank you for being such an understanding, loving parent. IEP(H)S don't get paid very much barely anything really.,The parents,(not all) can be very verbally abusive to them, when they r very truly trien their best with, every child since there are so many. they all juat want to help. she has hope seeing a parent like you who understands and has compassion to understand how hard it can be and the fact that you work with the helpers together instead of demanding things and being beligerant. so ty from my mama dukes ps. lol right hasn't our weather truly been crazy we've had 4 seasons in a week lol DMV go home you'd drunk. xoxo love from Maryland.

I have a deep respect for anyone that adopts. It warms my heart to see these kids that would otherwise likely live an extremely hard poverty ridden and possibly abusive life to now having been adopted and live a life of love, support and endless opportunities.

What wonderful parents to some pretty amazing children. You all are so special and lucky.

My son also had to wear casts. From 5 days after birth up until he was almost 3 months old. Now he has been wearing his AFO'S for about 3 1/2 months 23 hours a day. Next week we will finally be able to be in 12 hour wear! It is definitely a journey to go through❤ Love and happiness to your family from ours!

I wear an orthopedic on my right foot/leg. I wouldn’t be able to walk if I didn’t have my brace! I was born with right clubbed foot and later about 9yoa diagnosed with leg perthesis on my right side. Obed is in great hand with this loving family as well as the other kiddos! Love how big both of your hearts are! Reminds me of my parents! Thank you, Just a fan, Ms. Madonna Jeannotte.
