Thank you! After shaping my skirt, the waist was my actual waist circumference. I didn’t add any extra measurement before inserting the elastic.

It’s not compulsory. It’s a faster way to cut the front and back side pieces together. You can fold it into two and cut the pieces separately

Thank you! To get the knee measurement, measure the circumference of your knee and add about 3” for ease.
