Do you think JoJo was being too harsh on Leigha for Anji's actions?

Considering we all eventually become our parents, I think it was a good lesson for Leigha on how certain reactions to when we don’t get what we want are inappropriate.

I don’t think it was too harsh because both need to learn. But at the same time the whole “I don’t forget” can be harmful because that may leave no room for both Leigha and her mom to grow as individuals. I’m glad Jess was the one who made the final choice because Jojo would’ve just eliminated leigha because of what her mom did. And that’s not cool. Also where was that energy when Tracy was acting up (later in the show). What do others think?

It really made me emotional when Jess firmly said in this episode, "I would never eliminate a girl because of something her mom did." When I was 12 the director of the dance studio I attended for most of my life removed me from a competition because she had an argument with my mom about something. It was incredibly traumatic for a little girl to feel so helpless after a full year of working so hard for that competition. I remember my dance teacher cried and cried backstage with me because she knew how unfair it was. She cried even more than I did. I just stood there next to her in shock, in full costume, off stage, watching my teammates perform. The director wanted to hit my mom where it hurt and she did. I never danced again. Ever. Jess Siwa understood that even though Anji's behavior was unacceptable, it would be equally unacceptable to punish sweet Leigha, who did nothing but work her butt off throughout the whole show. It shows Jess's incredible leadership skills, decisionmaking, and kind heart. That's exactly why Jojo has gotten so far in life: she has an incredibly wise mom. Well done Jess and I truly hope XOMG Pop finds success. Little girls need good clean music and idols to look up to.

Literally, they're basically mini JoJos. I think the point of xomg pop is to take over JoJos younger audience as she gets older and moves on the more mature things.

This is the healthiest form of child stardom. Little girls allowed to dress, act, dance, and sing like little girls, with strong messages of joy and positivity. Nothing wrong with it at all. Jojo and Jess are geniuses for setting up a group to take Jojo's role now that she's aging past her target audience.

What was the actual reason for her disrespecting Jess? We don't get it over here, so just curious.

Anji was upset Leigha's singing part was cut and given to Brooklynn (a stronger singer) instead, and she was very very passive aggressive about it. You can tell Anji absolutely lives for her daughter and her daughter's dream and she took that very personally.

Tatum should've stayed and Leigha should've been sent home.

It just seemed like Tatum was doing everything her mom wanted her to do but Leigha def wanted it, so I think they made the right choice

@@sailur Tatum clearly said that everyone makes it seem like she's following what her mom tells her to do but the actual truth is she wants to do it. Tatum didn't get many opportunities to sing and if she did i bet they would've seen her shine. Leigha had some opportunities and she failed and we saw that. If Tatum was also given a chance we would've been able to see if she's ready or not just like we did with Leigha

@@sailur In my opinion, she didn't show out because they never gave her a chance to do so. Whenever they had auditions Tatum was really good, others were better. But when it came to Leigha she would crack under pressure

I think Tatum got a way better opportunity than being in the group. Honestly being on broadway is going to look way better on her resume and she will not only have JoJo and Jess as her references but also broadway executives. So congrats to her🎉🎉

No. It turned out to be a pretty good series and I LOVE Liegha's story. She reminds me of me, going though so much at a young age. She proved herself without her personal storyline. I hope they'll share more about her spinal bifida now that she's an official member. She'll inspire so many other children in the world.

Overwhelmed by emotion and sad for Tatum at the same time. Leigha was terrified she was the one going home and she was shocked it wasn't her. She was expecting the worst outcome but got the best outcome and those emotions can be quite overwhelming for a young girl!

Leigha should of been sent home leigha is a okay singer but not amazing and her dancing is okay to but she just isn't that great
