In telugu one of the saas so called 'kodavali sa' only do not pronounce as 'sha' rest 2 shaas out of 3 can be pronounce as 'sha'. Even in telugu language we do not using 'kodavali sa' shiva. Yes. You are right. When spell the word 'lahari', ha is slightly missing a bit. Still she has sung very well. As far as I know, malayalies are usually pronounce (samkrit words) quite good in among South India languages. Shankar Reddy From Singapore .
