Hell yea. This game is single handedly responsible for me becoming a military pilot.

2:25 playing to the Phantom's strengths by going vertical, fantastic!

The amount of power the F4 had, especially for a 1960s fighter, is insane. The fact that it kept its maneuverability even more so. The Tiger might be light but I doubt it could out climb even a fully loaded Phantom.

@@benhardsatrio8222 On my.... I don't know how many times I've watched this now.... viewing.... I noticed that both pilots were pushing their planes to the absolute limit. The Tiger may not have been able to climb with the Phantom, but had M1 not gotten the kill there, he'd have been a sitting duck since such a stall would've basically caused his J79s to choke. He still had enough power to spin the gun for a burst, and he got the kill... but notice he had to remain perfectly level for a moment after that... those engines needed a re-light so he could get home.

@@Tank50usAround 2:35-2:37 you can actually see the nozzle move as Mobius 1 finished pivoting his nose down, so I don’t think those J79s flamed out back then. I think the pilot doing the sequence actually cut throttle to idle coming down from the climb to prevent any asymmetric thrust from spinning the aircraft or throwing off his aim, and only applied minimal thrust afterwards as he’s in nose down attitude and is already gaining speed just from gravity + minimal thrust, at least enough to point the nose where it needs to be to take the kill shot.

@@Tank50usAlso, notice that Mobius 1 stalled out at almost the same time as the F-5. Goes to show how air combat is also a duel of luck and calculated risks.
The mission the truly brought Ace Combat to life.
The sheltering wings of the protector. This dogfight was intense
Once again you've pulled another one out of the hat!

Thanks Andrew! This mission was the beginning for me. I traded the cool pens with fake fish swimming in some blue oil and water inside of it for my friends copy of AC04 at a bus stop on a rainy dark morning sometime around 2002 or 2003. I remember sneaking a view of the box art from my backpack whenever I got the chance. If only I knew how it would change my life !

Far better/more realistic air combat choreography than almost any big budget movie, and with better cinematography to boot. Excellent all around a normal.

Ace Combat 4 was my first ever Ace Combat game, I still remember to this day the first mission and how it captured my attention. This video really hit the nostalgia memories and all the fun I had playing the game. Thank you for making videos like these and for the hard work you put into them!
You cooked with that dogfight
I am still holding out hope for Gracemeria.
It's a honor to be bested by the blue ribbon. Everybody wang chung tonight. Great video man!

It sure is. Wang was the unfortunate ace who would face Mobius first...no warning of just how good he is! Cheers Shino, good seeing you here!
Another great video. Much higher details than before Especially showing more nature shots, the inside of the enemy craft and how they break up. Nice use of the background dialogue for the RIO in the F4 and also the F4's strength in vertical climbs. Though the worker in front of the explosion did seem a little off like it was green screened. Though that could just be me.
@Nassault

Thanks Gavin! I appreciate the feedback on both ends. I had trouble tracking the motion during the explosion shake, so the worker is indeed slightly off-pace. You've got a good eye! With each one I get better, so hopefully in the future I will spend a bit more time tightning up stuff like that. Cheers!
「君のコールサインはメビウス1だ」この時から空戦が好きになった
“I cant climb any higher stall warning stall warning” that was good
This mission is hard-coded into my memory so hard - AC04 was my very first PS2 game (and that Duck Hunt in the intro is probably the first video game I've ever played!). It really brings back the memories, very very fond and precious ones at that. I've been watching your videos for a long time but this one is special - thank you for this.
Babe wake up. New Ace Combat 04 DCS lore dropped.
First mission of Holy Trinity with that ISAF F4, still nice present for SkyEye!
The point where it all started, all of those voice lines are permanently engrained in my mind. Awesome animation as always!
Nothing like waking up in the morning and watching a new Nassault video with my coffee. Wonderful work once more Nassault!
Every video You do has this feeling... It's that feeling when the story really takes ahold of You,when each launch of a Fox-2 is felt on Your bones. I thank You again for giving me a shiver Nassault, and of course,Ace Combat or not.. I'm happy to fly under Your wings.
absolutely incredible work. You really showed off the details on heatblur's F-4 module. It looks so damn good. I really digged that maneuver the F-5 did.

Today is my birthday, a Nassault video sure would be nice!
Mobius One shot down a Bear! Its always a good day when nassault uploads a new video!
The very first mission of Ace Combat I ever played. So good to see you remake this.
You can tell Nassault have been really improving far forward by seeing the dogfight between Mobius 1 and Wang. That was superb. Keep it up man, and thank you!
The breakdown into guitar solo from Sitting Duck is still legendary.
The attention to detail is mindblowing! Cant even imagine how many man hours go into each video. Your videos are awesome especially the AC04 ones, may that game live forever!
Loving how the cinematography improves with each iteration. Keep it up Nassault, hope you nail a big one soon.
WOW! Nassault you didn't need to go this hard on this video. Super damn impressive work! What a fantastic debut for the HB F-4E in your content too! It's an honour to help in a small way towards this and I had a smile seeing the credits.
The mission that started my Ace Combat journey all those years ago. You did it justice

I’m honestly filled with nostalgia right now, this was the first game, the first mission, that made me passionate about aviation and the military as a whole. The art you make really hits home for me. Thanks for the video and may we see you in the skies again!!
4 was the first game i ever picked out for myself as a kid. This mission is practically seared into my memory. Incredible job. Also you gotta post that Mobius 1 skin on the user files man, I have a mighty need
Those maneuvers in that dogfight. Just beautiful.
Nassault, im out of words. I see all you videos and this one is one more of your magestic tallent, seriously. How in the hell you do such bodies animations like 0:45 , and the music, sound effects, camera angles. Youre such talented man, and with this videos you made my best 12 minutes of the day (ive seen in 3 times) . I just want to thank you and please continue doing this artworks. You make all ace combat fans such a nostalgic combined with masterpiece video...Thank you for continiusly rip off the boundaries of DCS cinematics ❤❤❤👏🏼💪🏼🤟🏼
Fucking Cinematic masterpeice as always! Flawless animation, cinematography and editing. Project Aces should remake these games and hire you to make the trailers :D
The cinematography and dogfight were damn tight. Definitely a significant improvement from your Blockade video. Amazing. Just Amazing.
Nassault back with another AC banger, HELL YEAH
Glad to see this comes up first on my dashboard. Great video, thank you very much.
This is awesome! Great job as always! I wasn’t able to go the military pilot route but recently got my private pilots certificate. Ace Combat played the biggest role in this passion. Thanks Nassault!
I grew up playing this game on the PS2. And in my imagination as a child, this is how I always imagine came looked to me at the time 20 years later hearing the sounds the music. The voices really brings me back and highlights how awesome of an experience I had going up with this. Your edits are amazing man. Don’t let a soul tell you otherwise.
This brought back that cherished Saturday evening back in 2003 my dad bought me a ps2, he bought ace combat 4 because we both loved aviation and this mission was it.
Amazing! I always love seeing you add an ace to challenge Mobius and put him on the ropes, it definitely adds to the skills of Mobius and the persistence of the Eruseans!
First Ace Combat mission I ever played, happy to see you making more AC content. Keep it up!
There’s no words that describe how good this is. This genuinely makes Ace Combat realistic instead of the arcade like tone and appearance we’re used to and I fucking love it so much.
This was awesome work once again. Good Job!

This is incredibly good. The shots with the birds, especially the transition and the one with the bomber crashing into the ocean, were incredible! And the soundtrack going in the background too, just perfect! Ace Combat 4 content is my favorite and this is another absolute banger. That F-4 Mobius 1 skin is one of my favorite aircraft liveries ever as well. Love seeing it featured here!

He's baaack! Every video a masterpiece And goddamn this song rips. One of my favorites in the whole Ace Combat series
Nassault i love your videos Keep up the good work 🙏 I've been an AC fan since the ps1
That transition from the seagull to the Phantom is just chef's kiss
Thank you for such a good short, hands down one of the best I've seen!
SkyEye is happy today, and so is Nassault! My mate just uploaded a brand new video!
Pure art as always. If they ever make an ace combat movie I hope they come to you lol
THIS IS ACE COMBAT. RIGHT HERE. Thats twice now Nassault made spawning Aces seem like they mean something.
Since the very moment the F-4 module was announced I knew this video would come and I'm all about it! Great work as always!
The cinematic quality is awesome ! I had a tear, AC04 is my first game, and it’s already 25 years old.
The dogfight with Wang had me at the edge of my seat, they just keep getting better!
いや凄い…!お見事な作品です!ありがとうございます!
Another legendary cinematic! It's been awesome to see you improving bit by bit as well (though I love all your cinematics regardless) -- your style captures this intimate visceral feel in the details and I can't get enough of it 😍This is what I show to my friends when they ask what Ace Combat is like!
Absolutely beautiful tribute to an absolutely amazing game. Glad you're still doing these after all this time.
Thank you for releasing this on my birthday 😊 Made a nice little treat to watch with the boys.
AC04 is a childhood gem. Thanks for making this one, as usual.
thought it was so awesome that you also included the work that goes into editing these scenes together. You are killer at editing! Thanks for bringing my Acecombat childhood to life.
This was the very first mission that got me hooked on the ace combat franchise. I remember booting this up on ps2 and never playing anything like that before
Incredibly well done as always!! I love the little popups, just like old times. This mission was an excellent choice too. It's got one of my favorite tracks in the game. I got a job working with drones in September, it's my first career job. I had the "Sitting Duck" track playing in my car on the way over for my first day.
I never was able to get into ac4 like the other games but I can recognize how good the game must have been to play back when it came out and this video captures that really well. Keep making these videos dude, they’re the best.
Todays my birthday! A new Nassault video sure would be nice!
nostalgia came flooding back.... Thank you so much for making this
A Literal "SHORT-DETAILED-CLEAR" Video like always, well done Nassault!
Man this is great! AC4 and this mission were what kickstarted my passion and love for the AC series, it means so much to me and I'm sure it does as well to others. Keep up the good work!
Phantastic Video all around. I love the F-4 Phantom II, and I love Ace Combat. What's better than that? A DCS CINEMATIC MADE BY NASSAULT TO COMBINE ALL OPH THEM! Keep up the good work, because this content is just simply amazing!
Man this brought back so many memories of 10 year old me playing this mission on an old tube tv. Led to me becoming a military historian ironically because my vision was too bad to be a fighter pilot. Shoot all you are missing is Imminent Threat and you will have done all four of the first missions.
masterpiece as always, Thank you for taking me back to childhood with these video i love it
Every time an ace shows up in a Nassault video it’s like Christmas come early
A new Nassault video on my favorite day of the week, Gyro night? Christmas came early!
BABE, BABE! WAKE UP! NEW NASSAULT VIDEO JUST DROPPED!
Each new video, Always upping the editing and cinematography game. Great job
It's good to see this another AC DCS content. Thank you so much.
Lo and behold, as I am thinking about Nassault's wonderful cinematography, I am blessed with another of his creations. The world truly is a large coincidence
