I love my Sitka hunting systems/cloths. Getting me and other hunters to give up our MysteryRanch packs is a tall hill to climb, but keep trying. We'd be open to new tents or sleeping systems more likely.

What do you do with your gear?

I was skeptical of the meat hauler being inside the pack myself. After having this pack though, it gives plenty of options for gear transfer. I dont utilize the full capacity of the pack for gear. For a 3-4 day hunt, thats way more weight than i want anyways..... once i have meat in the pack, i just transfer the majority of my gear to the outer pockets and lashing, and keep my stuff thats in the main pocket in a stuff sack so as not to get blood on it. If youre smart with your gear loadout, this is an excellent pack.

You have to design the pack so that the meat is not inside with your other gear and clothing. That’s a no go for me.

Too many moving parts and you need extra accessories to carry your rifle or bow correctly! The meat hauler is way too small!

This seems like a lot of shit to have to remember after you just slaughtered an elk on a mountainside and are trying to get the animal out as bears smell the kill and the weather's coming

Put your meat in your pack???? Nah needs a meat shelf
