आँखे नम हुई। एक महान कलाकार, बचपनमें उन्हे जिस प्रकार संघर्ष झेलना पडा। खास करके उन्होंने माँ के बारेमें बताया, माँ ने दिए हुए संस्कार मन को छू लेने वाली जीवन कहानी। आदरणीय जगदिपजी के प्रति विनम्र श्रद्धांजली।

बचपन से इनको फिल्मों में देखा। स्कूल की तरफ से हमने इनकी फ़िल्म देखी थी कैपिटल सिनेमा पटियाला में ' हम पंछी एक डाल के'। बहुत ही ज्ञानवर्धक फ़िल्म थी। और भी फिल्मों में बड़े होकर इनको देखा। शोले के सुरमा भोपाली तो सबको याद ही रहेंगे। बहुत ही उम्दा कलाकार और अच्छे इंसान थे। भगवान इनकी आत्मा को शांति दें। हम सबको इनके जीवन से प्रेरणा मिलती रहेगी।

Wow, what an awesome man jagdeep is, the love and respect he has for his mum is outstanding. Beautiful human with no ego.

Such a genius I have been watched Jagdeep ji almost all films. He was a real gem 💎 of an Indian film industry.in all past years when he used to act. he remained very committed, composed, coherent, convicted, and have an eminent ability to shifts his way of delivering dialogues with ease , this thing can only be happens when you give your best without being harsh and rude. Whenever I felt rusty,clumsy, I started watching his film "Sholay,Kalia.etc .etc. He is no more,may Allah bless him and keep him in rest and peace.Ameen.

Woh Manzil kya jo aasani say tai ho, woh Rahee kya jo thak kar baith Jaye"--absolutely brilliant Jagdeep sahab! Yeh baat Jagdeep ji ki ma nay ek bombay ke toofan mai kahi ( its at 14.00m). and because of these inspirational words, Jagdeep could overcome the enormous hurdles of life. I heard these words HERE and it changed MY life. I decided no matter how hard the obstacles, ai kabhi thak kar baithnay wala nahin. And because of these words and grace of God i was able to accomplish a multi million dollar deal which otherwise appeared absolutely impossible. and the odds were heartbreaking. But these golden words kept resonating in my ears and I persevered and finally succeeded in accomplishing the deal. I used to lovingly call the mission i had- MISSION IMPOSSIBLE. probably GOD LED ME TO HEAR jagdeep sahab ki ma kay alfaaz and which in turn led me to become a millionaire. Zuroor dekhna doston and NEVER quit . again it starts around 14.01

Looking at the video, I think he was a great fighter. One of the greatest comedian especially surma Bhopali role. During his comedian career, he did not got much work but he remained cool n faced the situation humbly. He is no more with us today but surma Bhopali is there with us n will remain with us for decades. May God bless his soul.

Hats off to Jagdeepji, We always appreciated his acting when we were school kids. I liked this interview and I must say, what a humble background, indeed. Those were the days when we had genuine people of all walks of life, in Bollywood. Also, I appreciate all that he narrated about what his mother said when she was hit by a metal sheet during a storm and yet in a poetic way addressed the situation to her son ( Jagdeepji) to move ahead in tough situations.
