Hindi ko po alam Sir. Hindi pa ako nakapunta ng Sabah, yung iba kasi nagbabackdoor lang sila. Delikado pag mahuli. Pero kung may passport ka magtanong ka nalang sa Zambo kasi may travel naman barko papuntang Sabah.

what are you talking about? by Malaysian Indonesian you mean "Muslim"? they are ethnolinguistically Philippine like other Filipinos, they wear clothes that are linked to their Islamic faith (kopya hats, hijab etc). they are no different from other Filipinos ethnically. Culturally they weren't colonized by Spain, so they have similarities with the Christian Filipinos until traditional clothing and music and foods that are halal Vs non halal foods by Christian Filipinos. but apart from that they speak Sinama (a Philippine language) and Bahasa Sug (A southern Visayan language), Filipino and Philippine English. some use bahasa melayu for trading purposes. Ask any Malaysian and they'll tell you Bangsamoro people are distinct from Malays. Sinama and Tausug people will say the same. Only the religion is shared between them. the closest relatives to Sama, Tausug and other Bangsamoro are other Filipinos of whatever religion who are their brothers and sisters. Not Malaysians and Indonesians, who are the cousins to Filipinos and Bangsamoro people. They are a little different from us. and about Abu Sayyaf, they are called "khawarij" (=outside the pale of Islam) by the local ulama, so people treat them now as bandits. They're not welcome anywhere in Bangsamoro and the rest of the Philippines. Tawi-Tawi/Sibutu and Sulu was cleaned out of jihadists like Abu Sayyaf during the last presidency of Duterte. I don't know about Sabah though, I remember Malaysian govt low-key funded ASG to cause trouble in Sulu and Mindanao so that financial investment would flow to Malaysia instead if Philippines, they did this for over 30 years and Malaysia grew rich from it. Many people from Tawi Tawi go between Manila and Sabah for trade (i.e. Shopee and Lazada store items or in the local street markets in places like Baclaran in Manila or Zamboanga, and Semporna and Sandakan in Sabah).
