Sit up to improve your jumping position is the most common horse riding correction that you can hear as a rider. Most people have been taught to not interfere with the horse by leaning forward. This puts the horse off balance and puts the rider ahead of the horse. This means if the horse stops, turns, runs out or trips, the rider will NOT Be in balance.
