To me, she was disrespecting her own mother and I believe Mykelti did it that way as a power move purposefully to hurt Christine. I was hurt for Christine I can't believe that she wasn't hurt. Someone else has made the comment that TLC is needing someone to have interaction with Robyn now that her and Meri don't have the same relationship. I think it's coincidental timing that Mykelti is having so much Conte t with Kody and Robyn now that Meri is on the outs. I think it's very plausible that Mykelti is the person for TLC to have content for Kody and Robyn to remain on the show.

He could feel superior to Janelle when she lived in the rented house he did not like, the trailer he did not like and the temporary student-rental apartment that he did not like. Kody comments on her bathroom being bigger than his and Robyn's and the big island with the granite surface in the kitchen. He is finding it difficult to feel superior to her when she is doing so well on her own. It is the ashes of his "You'll never do better without me!" speech that he hurled at Christine. Janelle, Christine and Meri have proved him wrong.

I love John's innuendo. It is appropriate in that is it even more apparent the Kody literally left his first 3 families to be with Robyn. And then he tries to act like the first 3 continued to have a good marriage with him. He speaks over everyone who tries to get a different idea into the conversation.

Meri rambling in circles just makes my head hurt. I don't think I've ever met someone as indecisive as Meri. Seriously, it has been 7 - 8 years...how has she not figured this out by now??

I find her irritating af and try to remember her family transitioned from one patriarchal cult to another even more conservative one when she was a minor. It doesn’t always help, but I try.

Another new reality is that Robyn & Meri are not really close they just pretended season 1-17, now we learn that they only come together for filming, that they never have a good time, it was just trauma bonding. Meri's trauma from rejection and Robyn's pretend trauma from rejection, a rejection that was never real, Meri was rejected

I know you're not covering extra non-show news, but you have GOT to talk about the recent reveal that Robyn lied about Dayton's accident! She said he was out of town with friends, which made people wonder if he was really visiting his dad. Well it turns out- no. He was WITH KODY! Kody let it happen on his watch, and it was completely neglectful. Don't get me wrong, accidents happen, but this is a total cover up. It seems also to have something to do with keeping Dayton's dad from finding out, for legal reasons.

Naw, all that type of jealousy stuff puts too much pressure on kids caught in the middle. I actually CHOOSE to step back to the back of the line with that kind of stuff because I feel totally secure that I love my daughter and she loves me. Her step mom is kind of a Robyn-type control fiend who always needs the ego boost of being picked. She puts constant stress on my daughter for events/b-days/holidays/birth of grandchildren...to be CHOSEN. My entire focus is on reducing my daughter's stress and removing pressure. So I will always be like "Hey honey, I know you have a lot going on at Christmas with all family events, so how about you come by my place a day or two after Christmas and I'll make it special for us." I don't even TRY to get into the competition. It means a lot to her. If she doesn't appease her step-mom it threatens her relationship with her dad (step mom is the gatekeeper to permit access to her dad). My daughter actually hangs out with me a lot more because there is no pressure cooker stress at my place.

my daughter modeled wedding dresses, prom dresses, swimsuits and all other clothes at the malls, but she never used it on her resume for a job or a husband.

Back in High School, I knew a couple of classmates that took modeling classes and then told people they were models.

I cannot stand either Mykelti or Tony the way it is, but it really annoyed me how M made her pregnancy announcenent while looking into the camera, rather than looking at Christine &/or the many other family members who were present there with her--at Christine's 50th bday party, no less! And making a point to announce to the world that she'd told Sobyn first was SO obnoxious!! Snark warning: Mykelti was already huge; how would anyone possibly not know that she was preggers again?!

Heaven forbid that Christine could have her own birthday be about herself! Of COURSE Mykelti has to upstage the birthday girl and make the day all about her. I DO think that this is TLC's fault. They probably wanted to have the twins announced on the show but didn't know where to tuck it in until someone had the bright idea of having it happen at Christine's party. I guess that works. Mykelti SHOULD have told her mother before telling Robyn, but that's just my opinion. As to what Robyn does all day.... I have heard she mostly goes shopping. She doesn't clean, she doesn't cook and she doesn't parent. She does to some "special" things in the bedroom to please her best customer (Kody). That about sums it up.

Fellow geriatric pregnancy here! Apparently around the time I was pregnant (2019/2020 - fun times) they were more using "pregnancy in advanced age" which I was like THAT IS NOT BETTER

I’m currently closing in on home base in my first pregnancy, and I turned 40 a couple of months ago. The most unsettling aspects of this whole antenatal process have all revolved around the terrifying information that’s given due to my age (with no real numbers!) only to read later on my own that we’re talking statistically significant yet still incredibly low numbers regarding all the scary age-related stuff. They did avoid the word “geriatric” as much as possible, but still, it was clear that I was getting certain talks *only* because of my age. Don’t get me wrong: I love my doctors, and I’m glad to hear about risks and things to look out for. But! If they could’ve talked about the scary stuff *with* the statistical data, that would’ve been fantastic. Also, the number of times I get called a “young” mom when they mean “new” mom is also a little bit of a slap. We need to rethink how we speak to women and people with uteruses about their bodies across the board, but the odd infantilization of pregnant people is *rough*.

Same but we used AMA (advanced maternal age)…. I don’t think they have any good way to clean up what they are trying to say! 😅😮 But FOR SURE I couldn’t manage geriatric…. And I was in my 40’s so it’s close to being true 😅😅😅

I remember when Meri was going through her home in Vegas and she was so ridiculous about the correct size of her lights .I think that would drive anyone crazy .

Some families use calendars to write down dates like birthdays and anniversaries, times of graduations and who is hosting 3rd Christmas. Maybe the Browns should try a calendar?

It’s going to back fire on Mykelti. There’s always one who thinks they can stand on the line and stay neutral. They are the ones getting burnt first. Robyn uses Mykelti and Tony like she used Meri, Janelle, Christine, even Kody. Mykelti your well meaning position will be your undoing!

I think Savannah prefers to "lay low" to keep Kody from going into a rant or a rave. He can be very scary especially after what she has witnessed.

She boxed up his stuff before Christmas. But she still needs the land paid off. So she can build or sell. That’s why she’s not as blunt as Christine yet.

My tv died over the weekend and haven’t watched the episode yet. I want to watch it from my couch😢 I can’t understand why Robyn was complaining about not getting an invite unless it’s because she couldn’t complain how unsafe it would be to attend the party. I agree with you on how Kody speaks about Robyn more as a trophy than a human being. Can’t wait to see the party. Can’t believe they felt it necessary to reveal that Mykelti told Robyn first about the pregnancy. It gives me Kody shopping with Robyn for her wedding dress vibes.

For all the patriarchy red pill word vomit that comes out of Kody's face hole, when Meri called about "her" anniversary the first thing Kody said was that he had to ask Robyn. I think he was lying about it later in his confessional after seeing the clip of Meri, when Kody said that he had to buy some time..... He was trying to explain the situation of him asking Robyn's permission.

Since there's 3 other adult children, PLUS the nanny, to watch Sol and Ari, why couldn't Kody take a few minutes out for Meri's anniversary celebration without checking with Robyn?! He doesn't want to! 😒

When they made a big deal about M telling K & R first, then a remark from C that this Mykelti’s Story, I thought here it comes…. TLC newest show

I think Mykelti loves her mom and wants to maintain her relationship….. But really I think deep down Mykelti resents her mom for being a polygamist, for subjecting her to that impoverished lifestyle, for exposing her to tons of siblings whom she NOW tells us bullied her (and I guarantee she was an annoying brat, but I digress) and so this “love” of Robin is punishment. She makes sure to do all the passive aggressive bs to needle her mom while not going so far as to break the relationship. It all adds up. She takes every opportunity to do this… the farewell party, all the births she insists Robin be there for which she knows gets under her mom’s skin and even this stoooopid move of telling Robin about the twins first. Right now she’s the only child with grandkids, but Mykelti may find out some day she’s got less and less power. She needs to stop playing… it’s not cute

With the amount of time Meri has spent getting stuck in the corner at family gatherings like a spare piece of furniture that's in the way, you'd think she'd appreciate circles' lack of corners 😂

If I had a daughter and she told her stepmother before me, I would be hurt. Yes, it would be her life and pregnancy, but it would still sting.

If my daughter would have told her step mom she was having twins..before me.. I'd be so hurt..Christine puts a great face on it..she's alot better at hiding her feelings..from living with Kody! To me that's a big suck up again to Kody!

I had to pay a vet bill to save my new puppy. He was there for 6 days, and they charged me EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS!! It stung so bad. It still stings. It made me feel like vomiting, to hand over that credit card. Big unexpected bills are the worst. I feel for you.
