When Truly said she felt betrayed that she was the last one to learn that her parents were divorcing, Christine sat quietly and listened and did not say a word about how it was Kody's idea to delay telling their daughter. Good mom.

Christine was gracious and did not tell Truley that it was Kody who wanted to delay telling her about the “divorce”.

The vocabulary & maturity or Truely on this episode IMPRESSED me a LOT for an 11 year old!

Christine is the heart of the family! She is in contact with the majority of the family, she spends so much time with all her kids, Janelle‘s kids and Janelle. Kody and his sad Meri/Robyn clique (he doesn’t see Meri anyway) is not the family…Christine won

Yes, I saw the picture of Robyn and Kody at the wedding. It was definitely them sitting right next to each other, and Robyn's kids sitting next to her. And some of the other siblings further down. So they were indeed at the wedding. But it WAS interesting that Kody wasn't sitting with Janelle. The mother of the groom and "his wife" when it it was their mutual child's wedding. More confirmation that I too think Janelle leaves next season. 100%

Fascinating… Meri and her kids are in the front row with Janelle. Christine is behind with her kids but Kody and Robyn were behind the bride’s family. Not even sitting near the rest of the family. Weird.

2:42 I LIVE for moments like this when John just says, "This is such a STUPID SHOW!" I love how John just humors his beautiful wife and goes along with it because she wants him to and for whatever reason she really loves the show. I LOVE the way you interact with each other and have such a sense of humor about everything. It must be a wonderful way you get through life together as a team with such a sense of humor. I think there needs to be a show with just the two of you - I'd watch it religiously.

Robin wants us to think Cody has been in a bad mood with Robin because she wants people to feel bad for her. Cody is treating Robin like she is a saint, Like the 🌞 rises and sets on her!

John makes me laugh. “They don’t have the brainpower. I said what I said!” 😂

I’m only halfway thru this video , but i haven’t heard anyone touch on Kody saying that when he does talk to Ysbel, that it is like pulling communication out of her. And I’m screaming at him that he has the PERFECT opportunity to improve that communication by traveling with Ysbel to NC to move. We all know that a cross-country road trip is a definite bonding experience. And I bet Christine would fly to/from to not impose on their father/daughter time. Christine already said she will do whatever Kody wants to accommodate him being able to be a part of that experience.

John's facial expressions this episode are spot on. *chefs kiss* This episode was a lot of insanity and also a lot of nothing burger. I hate how Kody treats and speaks about his kids. He just ignores that Ysabel was hurt by him not spending time with her and focused on Christine making things up. He treats Truely like an after thought. Poor Gabe he is just cruel to and apparently has no desire to reconnect after he dare speak out about him. It is just infuriating. Especially when he defends himself from not being able to be away from his "family". That whole effing line about "No man can be away from his family, home, and work that long." Eff right off a bridge. Military families frequently go a long time without loved ones and even then they could and would get leave to fly the eff home for major surgery of a child like what Ysabel endured. You are a waste of humanity sir and have no idea what family and responsibilities are. His lying and manipulation of Christine was just gross. I am glad when she said she would be getting a lawyer (and I kinda hope she already had but didn't say for show reasons). Because this dude is no good and wants to leave her broke, stranded and punished. I am calling it now the infamous "stab to the kidneys" scene is because she got a lawyer and knows the house is in her name and he has no claim on it. It is wild. So so so glad that Christine and Truely are out and gone and living well. And I really hope Janelle is also out and just not saying for show drama reasons.

I’ve been watching the show from the beginning, it is amazing the from the very beginning, I think it was in the first or second show she said she didn’t feel important anymore. I guess it didn’t register with me how unhappy Christine has been from the beginning. It was so dramatic the change in how Meri was treated by Kody it overshadowed how unhappy Christine was.

I wonder if this is who kody has always been or if the older he's gotten the crazier he's gotten. The court threats are so bottom of the barrel disgusting! I look forward to you guys recapping don't let 3 jerks get under your skin😊❤️

Was Kody dancing with all the women at the wedding? He is a hottest when he is leaping like a cross between and Leprechaun, a gymnast and Flamenco dancers! Hilarious description of Cody dancing! He used a lot of money to get to Oklahoma. The gas prices! Yet he will not help the three wives financially or emotionally. Horrible husband and Father. Robin has her nanny, biggest home and shopping money unlimited.

You are right, he doesn’t have any right to her home when he’s not on the deed. She likely signed over her portion of Coyote Pass to repay the down payment and to get out of all entanglements.

The reason why Christine needed help with the downpayment on the house is that Kody made Christine, Meri, and Jeanelle all file bankruptcy earlier in their marriages, they have poor credit scores. Kody and Robyn never filed bankruptcy

I wonder who paid for Dayton’s surgery when he had the accident. No doubt the whole family. Then they couldn’t pay for Isabel’s surgery, which Christine herself hustled and made it happen. Kody is a useless provider and father.

The mystery seems to be solved about why Robyn & him were in Cosco in St. George buying a bunch of toys a few weeks ago. Apparently him & Robyn were at Mykelti’s baby shower. And you know how Mykelti is practically Robyn’s kid too….lol

Wanted to let you know that after John's constant suggestions, I started listening to Death on the Range this past week-I'm enjoying it thus far-thanks for mentioning you're an author.

So can we talk about how Meri is reveling in all of this? Lol. Meri sweetie, with as much as Kody dislikes Christine. He still does not see it for you boo. And Robyn is not your friend. If you hadn't been told yet today.

I know I'd focus on the .01% negative comments too, it's human! You guys are so down to earth and relatable, but someone will always find something to complain about. You guys balance each other perfectly. And if it hasn't been said, John's right, it's a terrible show that we're addicted to and we appreciate his sacrifice.

It’s really sad listening to Gabriel talk about how his dad has treated him. It seems Kody is practicing that polygamist/fundamentalist custom of creating ‘lost boys.’ So sad.

@@cathywithac you are right. except for Mykelti they are isolated and shunned. I wonder if Mykelti really likes Robyn all that much or if it’s just a butt kissing thing to find favor with her dad? Maybe she’s just diplomatic. The wonderful thing for these boys and girls as they grow up… is that they have mothers that will be a part of their lives & supportive.

This past episode Kody was giving off such over the top cartoonist behavior; It was beyond irritating, all he's missing is a woody woodpecker laugh. How can he expect anyone to take him seriously?

I’m just gonna throw this out there… I believe he did contact an attorney and that attorney pretty much told him he’s screwed. This is what can really happen with custody and property. I believe a lawyer told him if Christine wants to play nice then he better play nice right back. That’s why she got to have her property and Truly without really a fight. His only recourse was that scare tactic. But I think we all know it didn’t work. He really thought she was that dumb.

There are no Priests in the Mormon religion. I know because I grew up Mormon. The head of the local churches is a Bishop and they are ordinary men who serve I think three years as the Bishop and then someone else in the congregation takes over. The actual head of the church is the President and he is voted on by the 12 apostles. I hope this helps!

Early on, they said part of the wives position is to not interfere in each others relationship with the patriarchal husband. I’m sorry…I wouldn’t be able to not say something. Meri just bagged out. Usual. Robyn liked it. Jannelle gave comfort and later tells Kody off. She’s had it. I saw Robyn crying later I think bc of how awful Kody was. It was startling. I don’t think she had seen that side of him. She didn’t know what the other wives had gone thru. I don’t know why the women don’t get more courting with a selected new wife to bring her into a family. It’s all about the men in this cult. These women have been groomed for this. And expect them to be obedient. Stupid

This is the most I've heard John talk... although he speaks with his eyes regularly! I love John & Nikki's interaction and kindness to one another.

Robin is in on every decision Cody makes. Robin wants him to keep the other wives around so Robin can continue the lifestyle she has been living. God forbid Robin would have to get a job and/or lose her Nanny!!

Everyone keeps talking about Kody not being on the birth certificate and how that’s such a big deal, it’s really not. It’s a quick paternity test petitioned by the court and Christine would have legal rights to file whatever child support/custody she wants, same for Kody. Men not being on the birth certificate is pretty common and dealt with easily by the court.

I remember it well. Meri didn’t exactly say she was leaving. What she said was, “Don’t be surprised if one day I’m just gone.” I’ve been screaming Meri CHEATED from day 1, but most people defended poor Meri. I say BS. It is never ok to start a new relationship while still in one. Periodt!! But now that Christine left - the right way - and Meri’s true colors are showing more, the viewers are FINALLY starting to hold Meri accountable.

I believe Meri’s stoic and abrasive behavior stems from being brought up female in polygamy. Her, only able to have one child made it certain when Kody decided to become this FM she was going to have to go along with more wives. If she were on board from beginning, she’d have been friendlier. She didn’t have support from family, they were polygamist. This cult is barbaric. I bet one day she’ll come clean with her true feelings and journey with this cult.

I’ve watched this train wreck since the beginning, Since then I’ve watched on this show Meri-insist her kid get the more expensive college, delay homebuilding because of all the changes she wanted, want the family to help her buy the B&B, she keep it for herself, give to Robins girls and not the other girls in the family. I think she and Kody deserve one another

Janelle sat next to Gabrielle and Meri. Behind her sat Christine & Ysabel with three empty seats to Ysabel's right. This is extremely odd given that Janelle and Kody are the mom & dad of Logan and would traditionally be seated next to each other at a wedding. Looks like Janelle picked her kids What surprises me is that Meri is seated next to Gabriel and she's not by Robyn.

I wondered if maybe Meri sat away from Kody because her child (Leo ) doesn’t want to be near Kody? Cause otherwise I would have thought Meri would sit next to Robyn unless their dynamics have changed a lot

Season 18, more than a year from now will surely reveal Janelle has left Kody. I can’t imagine there would have been such division at Logan’s wedding otherwise. Janelle looked absolutely stunning and I pray Kody did not try to take over his son’s wedding. It was very sad that the day before his sons wedding, Kody was all over the internet belittling Logan’s mom, screaming at her and being up in Janelle’s face in public. Do you know why Kody was removed from the mortgage belonging to Christine? I cannot imagine why any mortgage company would allow proceeds to Kody with all the mortgages he is on. I have enjoyed listen to you guys and will be watching in the future!

I soooooooooooo agree with you that it's tragic that this episode came out right before Logan's wedding. What an Ass Kody has been to both Janelle and Christine and all of their children. I hope they continue the show with just Christine, Janelle and all of their kids and cut Kody, Robin, Meri and all of their kids out of it, although I wouldn't mind seeing Leon/Mariah. When Christine's house in Vegas sold, she took the proceeds and refinanced her Flagstaff home in her name only. That also allowed Kody to qualify for a mortgage on Robyn's million dollar mansion.

Probably she’s the one with good credit. She probably saved the day with new loan. That insures her part in it.

Kody is right in that they should have a custody agreement but he's shitting his pants with the thought of a court getting involved because he would be ordered to pay child support. Also, Truly is old enough to have a say in who she lives with and she's highly unlikely to choose him.

John. EXACTLY!! She didnt divorce Kody so he could adopt Robyn’s kids. She divorced him because she had every intention of leaving Kody. If it wasnt a catfish she would be married to the “huy” she met onmone
