I wish Kim and Kathy would reunite with Debbie. So sad that Joni passed away. I grew up on Sister Sledge back in the 70s. They really went through a lot to finally get their big break with Nile Rodgers and the late Bernard Edwards of the group known as Chic. Just glad to see Debbie and the crew keeping it going.

I grew up in sister sledge music back in 70s too. So sad they have lost a couple sisters All of them were/are beautiful and ver talented l.

@kandikane923 Yes, they were and still very talented and beautiful. Rumor has it that the falling out came in the group when jealousy had risen towards Kathy. The group, in my opinion, slowly got overlooked after the release of the album Got To Love Somebody circa 1980. When they released All American Girls with producer, singer, lyricist, and drummer Narada Michael Walden, their glitter was never the same. I thought the album was great. I wonder why Sister Sledge left Nile Rogers & Bernard Edwards. Quiet as it is kept, they performed in Africa (amongst other artists) when ALi fought Foreman in 1974. Their music will always be part of the soundtrack of my life. They got their big break with the We Are Family album (circa 1979) when Disco was on its way out the door. The 70's will always be my favorite era.

Sister Sledge Sledgendary! Sounding really good as a "family cover band" with only one original member of Sister Sledge here (Debbie). Please credit correctly as Sister Sledge Sledgendary! This is a completely a different band not Sister Sledge. It's Sledgendary!

Omg how funny aka tragic is the choreography??!! Even the badly dressed backup singers do it.....ohhhh & now the backup singer comes out front stage for his solo lolol or is this his starting headlining role??!! I only recognize one sledge sister.

Why do the 4 girls need 2 guys Sister sledge was a all girl 4 sisters group. Now only 1 original sister...No great lead vocal amongst the bunch...Bad idea...

It’s meant to be nostalgia for those that are fans and want to follow their history. Can you really expect them to be exactly as they were in their prime 30 odd years later? Life affects everyone. Sister Sledge included. All girl 4 sister group? One of them passed away recently, so we would be down to 3 Sisters. As for the other 2? They have made their choice not to be a part of it. Other family members have come in to continue their name and legacy for their fans. I’m thankful for having a feel of what they use to be like at this time in 2023 with at least one original member to confirm that they are not just a cover band who have no idea of what they were previously really like. It was shared for that reason. It’s a shame you think it a bad idea.

@@Only1Donj None of the girls were good enuff to sing lead as that had to have a fat man in black come strut across the stage in front of them singing......Grow up mister. It's a shame you don't want others to have an opinion. .why don't you put on a dress and audition your Damn self 👺🔥
