Hello thanks for keeping his legacy going... he wasnt famous when he participated in it. But thanks to this performance he caught the eye of everyone including the most famous american singer Frank Sinatra to the point of sinatra wanting to record an album with him but jose Jose's record agency didn't let him do it even after jose jose told them he would give them all the profits of the album.

It was a competition it is a festival celled OTI It was hes first time in this show and he was third place It is very nice that a lot of people react to mexican singers specially to Jose Jose "the prince of song" that how he was called Thank you very much for being interested in our people I'm mexican and I am a very dan of his although he passed away he left a legacy amoung fans and singers Hopefully you will keep keep reacting to more of our singers Thank you very much and if you have the chance to send me a link to some of your singers will be great I think will be nice to hear of your great artists

Ese festival se realizaba entre muchos países y el país local solía favorecer a sus propios cantantes. Mi humilde opinión es que se confabularon para que saliese en 3 lugar, con esa magnífica interpretación de José José lo más lógico era que ganara sin ninguna duda, dejarlo en 3 lugar debe haber dado mucho de que hablar y finalmente haber catapultado al estrellado al grandísimo José José.

This festival is what ultimately became the OTI, but was not the OTI as of yet.
Perhaps you may enjoy Manuel José whom many believe to be José Jose’s son (sadly it’s very controversial, yet you can’t deny the gorgeous talent of this young man). Crixus Kaiden: Soy de México, con todo respeto: Eres muy bonita, yo diría más bien "preciosa". He visto "Reacciones" tuyas a Luis Miguel (que es el mejor y más completo cantante de habla hispana de todos los tiempos, avalado lo anterior por Camilo Sesto que sería el segundo mejor); de Juan Gabriel, que como bien dices tú es y será siempre una Leyenda Musical Mundial, ya que junto con el Maestro Don Armando Manzanero son los dos más grandes compositores Latinoamericanos de México, porque no puedo decir que de toda la música en "Español" ó hispana, pues omitiría a 3 grandes compositores y uno de ellos cantante también de España: Camilo Blanes Cortéz ó Camilo Sesto, Manuel Alejandro y Juan Carlos Calderón... Debo decir, que todos los Artistas que mencioné son los más grandes en habla Hispana de todos los tiempos... Sin embargo, Juan Gabriel fue el más completo y genial, creó con su talento canciones sin precedentes y sin comparación (sin igual) y marcó toda una época dorada de Romanticismo Musical junto con José José que jamás volverá a repetirse ("EL MÉXICO QUE SE NOS FUE", como decía Juan Gabriel en un disco suyo que así intituló) pero que seguirá viva, vigente y siempre se escuchará en México y en todo el mundo en las inmortales grabaciones que nos dejaron estos Grandiosos Señorones, tanto en Audio como en Video... Disculpame pero Luis Miguel no es el mas grande ni el mejor, tal vez es el mas famoso, pero no le llega a Jose Jose. Para nada, y en los compositores de habla hispana te falto Agustin Lara, mundialnente conocidas sus canciones, incluso interpretadas por tenores.

Haciendo uso de mi derecho de réplica, procedo a contestarte y mencionar lo siguiente: En lo que respecta al gran cantante y excelente intérprete José José, es de todos sabido ( de dominio público ), que ha sido y será por siempre el más grande cantante de baladas y boleros románticos... No por nada, le adjudicaron el título de: El Príncipe de la Canción ( Romántica ); sin embargo, en los años que duró activo como cantante su voz fue decreciendo, y a pesar de que poseía un gran oído musical y muchos recursos vocales, oficio (colmillo) y una gran técnica para cantar: llegó el momento en que no pudo ocultar las inconsistencias, insuficiencias y falta de potencia en su voz (demasiado notorios ya). Incluso, el disco que le hizo Juan Gabriel de boleros rancheros "Tenampa", casi tuvo que cantárselo Juan Gabriel porque él ya no podía. No sé si sepas de música, es decir, seas música, compositora, cantante o musicóloga; pero los que si lo somos, sabemos que en los casi 40 años que tiene Luis Miguel como cantante e intérprete, en todos sus discos "originales" su voz está prácticamente Perfecta (dentro de su registro vocal y/o rango tonal que desde que inició ha promediado: A2 - F#6)... y en su última gira musical por muchos países, demostró al mundo "conocedor" que su Voz es Única, irrepetible e insuperable. P.D.- Lo que aquí expreso está avalado/comentado por: Luciano Pavaroti, Camilo Sesto, Juan Carlos Calderón, Alejandro Sanz, Armando Manzanero, Luis Fonsi, Juan Gabriel (que lo admiraba mucho), Coque Muñíz y muchos más... Incluso José José dijo en un programa conducido por Verónica Castro, que Luis Miguel sería su sucesor en las baladas y boleros románticos y se expresó muy bien de él; Mariah Carey al único cantante de habla hispana que oía era Luis Miguel... (Todo lo que aquí menciono está registrado en videos que puedes verlos/oírlos en Internet). Gracias y Saludos !!!

Difiero totalmente de tu opinion, me gustan algunas canciones de Luis Miguel, pero de que sea el (Mejor de todos los tiempos) Copia muchas canciones de cantantes del pasado adjudicandoselas y creyendo que son de el. Si es muy buen cantante y es de mi epoca, pero yo NO, le daria el 1er. Lugar, le daria el 3ro. o 4to. Lugar, Mejor para mi Jose Jose, Emmanuel, Juan Gabriel, y del Pasado. Javier Solis, Jorge Negrete, Jose Alfredo Jimenez, Pedro Infante, etc. Cualquiera de ellos supera a tu Luis Mi, tambien con problemas de alcoholismo y drogas, de que de sus desapariciones misteriosas,y algunos videos bien borracho, Jose Jose no se escondio ni nego sus adicciones, en cambio ya sabes quien, pues tu lo sabes. bueno, todos tenemos cola que nos pisen .De los cantantes españoles no opino para comparar a Luis Mi, ya que no seria congruente. Con todo respeto es mi opinion.
