Sister Sandra, I was Christian from birth till I reverted in May 2023. I knew immediately when I read Surah Al Fatiha that I was going to be Muslim. But I was absolutely stubborn. I took my shahada about 3 years after I already knew I was going to be Muslim. Though the world is filled with so much corruption and I am being persecuted for my reversion, I AM IN ABSOLUTE PEACE. I brought a friend of mine to the mosque in Houston TX. He took his shahada 2 years after me. As he was declaring his shahada, he cried the entire time. I told him it's okay to cry happy tears. He replied "it's not just happy tears, it's also sad tears." I said "why?" He said, because he knew his mother would go to hell with her current belief as a Christian. Not necessarily she will go to hell...remember, if a person who not hear learn or understand islam completely and they died....Allah will have a different test in the day of judgment...but for that are still living make a dua for them to Allah give hidayah for accepting islam..cos we don know the future....amin.

Islam is very prevalent in the world today, the only people that will be judged differently will be the ones who have no islam near them and have never heard of the religion. Islam clearly tells us that non Muslims will not enter heaven regardless of their deeds. It’s best that we strive as much as possible to bring them towards islam so they can be rewarded heaven. The prophet tried desperately with his uncle who was too proud to take the shahada and he is going to hell so this will be the faith for most non Muslims today. Hopefully his mum will find islam through her son and revert soon through the blessings of Allah and may Allah bring all the non Muslims towards islam.

Even when she's Christian, she's tried her best to seek the Truth. Believe me sister, you DIDN'T leave Jesus, you will know him (Jesus a.s.) better. The truth about Jesus a.s.

the fact that she's not a muslim, but she was making sticky notes because she did not want to mark up a translation of the quran out of respect... I haven't finished the video yet but I had to pause out of awe that was so beautiful to witness

I am a convert myself and this reminded me so much of my own way, my fears, my hesitation. May Allah bless you for helping her. You were actually listening to her and the way she explained what she "looses" or what changes is valid. Of course Shaytan will make it seem much bigger and scarier than it really is, but simply saying "oh no worries, no problem at all" is not gonna help. So thank you for taking her emotions seriously. For me, my conversation is alhamdulillah 20 years ago and it was the best decision of my life. But as for my family (extended family as well as my parents, siblings and their spouses) many of them don't understand me till today. We have relations, and I am actually the caregiver of my parents, but when it comes to religion, they are holding on to the way they used to (a very traditional and cultural reading of catholicism) and they have no interest in Islam whatsoever. Deep down they mourn my decision for Islam and I have to let them. It's not always easy.

I had the same experience when I reverted 20+ yrs ago, having the feeling that I betrayed Jesus for not believing that he is my Savior and Lord. Christianity is based mostly on emotions rather than logic. That's what the priest used on me when I was still learning about Islam. But Alhamdullilah, Allah has guided me the way He has guided a lot of us here. I have learned to love and respect Jesus in the correct way, and I have given my Creator, Allah, subhana wa ta'ala, the praise and worship that He deserves. AllahuAkbar! I know exactly how you felt. When I took the shahada and began to pray, I made so many mistakes and had problems to not make mistakes in the Arabic sura while praying. I began to cry because I thought I’m a failure as a Muslim. My husband came and told me to let the pressure go and learn step by step. The progress is Islam and for every step you go to Allah t.A., he comes hundreds to you. Then I stopped crying and lost some of the weight and pressure.

there's plenty evidence proving jesus died on the cross. Do your afterlife justice and look up the evidence . Then you'll know if islam is true

I grew up in a muslim country. So, I learned all of this in my academic syllabus. So, the understanding of Islam was served to me. Not until I was 18, I started to question things asking why and why and started doing some research. I have my parents, my friends, my teacher and my grandfather who is actually a local Imam to guide me. And I realized Islam is always the truth. But this sister learn directly from Quran and hadith for the sake of seeking the truth really moved me. She even taking notes, wrote down her questions and searching for a teacher for guidance. I don't know if I can do that if I was born in her surrounding. Congratulation sister. I hope we all will meet in Jannah.

19:31 I completely understand this transition and there is a process we former Christians go through when accepting Islam. It is all we knew and and hard to break from. I felt like I was betraying Jesus and in all actuality, Muslims follow Jesus more than Christians.

Spot on! Born Muslims don’t view Jesus the way we did. Theyve only seen him as Allah (swt) Rasul. But for us reverts it was different. You go your entire life believing Jesus is God. The fear in leaving Christianity is betraying God. By declaring God has no partners and Jesus isn’t God almost feels like becoming an atheist. I know In hindsight it sounds crazy. But Its a process to undo all those years of indoctrination. I think the wildest thing for me( looking back on it) is how desensitized you become to the obsession with blood in Christianity. There are entire songs about being covered in his (Jesus) blood being protected by his blood being washed by his blood etc When you’re part of that religion it all seems normal but being away from it now for over 20 years I see it for what it truly is. That’s the level of reverence you go your life giving Jesus. In the Christian paradigm He’s not just Allahs final messenger. He is Allah as well. Auzubillah! Sister if your reading this stay strong even as Muslims we have days when our faith is strong and days when our faith is weak. Up and down days. But we regain our focus through various things throughout the day like the 5 daily prayers, reciting certain rememberances, reading Quran,doing good deeds and so on. You dont have to fear anything. Allah doesn't need perfection from you. He just wants you to put genuine effort. That's it. And Allah is the most merciful and most forgiving.

You do good. Sincerity is the main focus. Salah is for yourself NOT for Allah. Allah doesn't need our salah. We also pray for Allah to accept our salah. During salah, you will at least gain your peace and tranquility and recoup your consciousness.

Even as a born muslim, who only started practicing late, it's all about striving to be better, son of Adam will sin, but the better are those who repents n strive harder. Even we muslims are struggling, but we won't let go of this , coz we kno it's the truth n we need it for our success in both lives. So strive, one day at a time. Boy, this was lovely, “I am inviting you to a merciful God.” I’m not sure where this caller lives but if you are in Florida and would like to connect to community and other women who love/seek God, please reach out. I really appreciate that he met her where's she's at. He took her through the Bible verses even. It IS scary to change, but having these questions answered helps so much. BTW as a Christian, I have had my problems with Paul of the new testament. Like, have I been following a religion of a guy named Paul?!! Lord, guide me.

She will follow Jesus command and rejecting those of Paul, the real founder of Christianity. Jesus, would never recognise what Paul has done to his religion. Jesus was a unitarian and Paul turned Christianity into a pagan religion. Jesus told us that unless we keep the laws and commandements, we will not enter the kingdom of God....Paul told us the opposite. That explain what the Bible says on Matthew 7:23 (And then I will declare to them publicly, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME [you are banished from My presence], YOU WHO ACT WICKEDLY [disregarding My commands). Jesus will reject you and every worshiper of Paul's religion. I hope it is clearer now :)

@@astonnoor He needs to read and open his heart (some people are blind, not from their eyers, but their hearts). I once asked one of the Bible bashers, who came to my place, on a sunday, to preach. I welcomed them (they came in twos) and listened to what they had to say. Once they were finished, I did ask them some basic questions about Jesus. His name, his brithday, the language he spoke, the rituals he perfomed, etc. By God, they had zero knowledge of Jesus. I then quoted the same verse - where Jesus tells them, upon hi return - Depart from me, I never knew you! Jesus never knew them, cause they never knew him. Anyway, we ask Allah to give him Hidayaat!

this is why reverts knows Islam better than many muslims born with muslim parents. because most muslims born with muslim parents, they do not study the quran and rely heavily on their being born in muslim faith. and wrongly believed that being a muslim can be inherited from their parent's belief. All muslims reverts or born with muslim parents must read and study the quran and that is a fardu commandment from Allah swt.May Allah swt make it easy for all muslims to study His Quran and His religion Islam! in sha Allah..

Quran is for everyone so there for you don't need understanding of Arabic as this would not make sense that someone becomes a revert as for the hadith this was given to us by prophet Mohamed sws now keep in this in mind if the prophet Mohamed sws only spoke Arabic dose it make any sense that we could understand the 100% with out having understanding of Arabic now knowing 90 percent of Arabic has no other language translation this is the sole reason why all Muslims need to learn Arabic to understand there religion completely

My heart feels for that little girl. May she have a quick and complete recovery. When I was a very strong Christian the one thing I dreamt about was being able to dress in the manner of the ladies in the tume of Jesus (peace be upon him). I looked at somalian ladies in their Muslim clothes and i thought they looked absolutely beautiful. But I knew that if I dressed like that my western community would moke me and think it was totally absurd and call me mad. But when I reverted to Islam I immediately wore my Muslim clothing and I did not care about what they felt. The feelings that I had wearing hijab and even purdah were something else. For the first time in my life I felt protected and dignified. I felt an extra kind of purity. My late husband had abused me and I had to run away from him with my son in my arms. But after my reversion to Islam I remarried and have been married for 18 years. My husband is a beautiful pious man and he has vern an excellent step father. Yes.my family have distanced themselves from me but I have found a love and respect in the Muslim community which is truer and more caring than anything I have known until now. For the first 3 years after.my reversion I found it very difficult to understand and put Jesus (peace be upon him) into the proper context, but now I love him but I kniw that I cannot believe that he is greater than any other Prophet. I love all the Prophets but I realise now that they wrre sent by Almighty God/Allah for a specific mission, in a ,specific time and in a specific community. Jesus was not the only prophet who was persecuted. They all were. If you read the Holy Bible you will see that this is the Truth. I would like to address the Idea that a blood sacrifice will wash away your sins. Today generally people do not know how a sacrifice was performed. The neck of the animal is cut eith a very sharp knife very quicky to its spinal cord so that it does not suffer long. BUT THE BLOOD IS DRAINED OUT OF THE ANIMAL AND IS NOT USED FOR ANYTHING. THAT IS BECAUSE BLOOD IS CONSIDERED A FIRTY THING. BLOOD IS FULL OF GERMS AND DISEASES. VERY OFTEN IT IS THRIWN INTO A HOLE IN THE GROUND WHERE IT WILL BECOMR PART OF THE DIRT. HOW CAN THE BLOOD OF A SACRIFICE BE CONSIDERED PURE TO WASH AWAY BAD THINGS WHEN IT IS CONTAMINATED AND BAD ITSELF. TO PIT EMPHASIS ON THIS POINT WE JUST NEED TO LOOK AT SATANISTS. THEY SACRIFICE ANIMALS AND EVEN PROPLE AND DRINK THE BLOOD OF THE SACRIFICE. Having been a very strong Christian I fully understand that they really ate trying to be the best person thay can be and they are goung un the right direction and I believe that they are good people but Jesus (peace be upon him) although he was one of the greatest Prophets cànnot even hear their prayers and the reason is simply this. .Almighty Gid/Allah is not a human being. Humans were Made and Created by Almighty God/Allah. Almighty God/Allah is Omniscient (He Knows everything,) He is Omnipotent (He is All Powerful,) but there us another attribute which no humsn being who are the Creation of Almighty God/Allah can ever he able to achieve and that is that Almighty God/Allah is Omnipresent. OUR LIRD IS EVERYWHERE HE HEARS AND SEES EVERYTHING. No matter where you are no matter what you ate doing,, no matter what you are saying no matter WHAT YOU ARE PRAYING HE WILL SEE YOU AND HEAR YOU. Beautiful, Sweet and Loving Jesus (peace be upon him) is a Creation of the Lord He was a human with all the weaknesses of a human but with the Purify and Blessed Characteristics of a Prophet of Gid. He is not presently able to hear you. Neither are the other Prophets unless Almighty God/Allah allows them to do do in very special cases. But that does not mean that the Prophets of Almighty God/Allah are not special. They are and we must love them. But never ever arebthey goung to even begin to touch hiw SPECIAL OUR LOVING MASTER AND OWNER ALMIGHTY GOD/ALLAH IS. My advice to Sandra is to take your time continue with your studies and eventually you will find that there is nothing scary about Islam. It is a beautiful and peaceful religion. Our Fid is the same as in the Jewish and Christian beluef system but only in the proper and exhalted place He Should be. Almighty God/Allah is Absolute and there us no Absolution without Him. When I first became a Muslim I decided to study Uslam in depth because I did this using the Strongs Concordance. But I found that the deeper studies of Uslam were too high and too much fir me. Becayse I was studying a far more asvanced course it made me feel afraid because it was extremely powerful and I was not ready for it yet. So I put thise notes aside and just read the Quran to get the badic answers to the answers I could not find un the Bible. The answers are so simple and beautiful . I though I knew them already and yet I did not. Just read the Quean furst. Cover to Cover and then as you go along your questions will be sliwly answered. When uou go on this journey even though you are a full griwn intelligent adult you are actually a child starting from the heginning. I pray that Almighty God/Allah Will Be With you and Bless you on this journey.
