    This is the conversation that those women went off the deep with some CRAZY conversation that started @ 5:00. There’s a lot of African-American women who are single, for one reason of another, and happy. IT’S NOT A CRIME TO BE SINGLE. 👎🏾 on their nonsense. If you’re a single lady, for one reason or another, don’t make the mistake and choose Spirit as your therapist, or else she’ll think you’re full of sh*t. SMH 🤦🏽‍♀️🇺🇸

    nothing wrong with being single ....i hate when society even the best therapist make women to be offputting. Oh please sometimes its the former reason ...if u dont see the person who is ready for u where u are then u will remain single if u love urself. ...it doesnt mean you are not lonely at nights or long for a partner ...but you are sacrificing and ensuring that the right one comes along and comes to stay. They acting like men are lined up saying ...im looking for someone single and have their shit together...half them single men aint got shit muchless togetherness. Im from jamaica youngmen nowadays looking for someone to upgrade them and that is where dating in my country stops. u will frequently hear that love is not real anymore but spirit meshes or people get along and thats all. it is a sad time to be judged by people saying u should be coupled.

    @Paul Hogue Men are supposed to take the lead. Are you and the men out there leading with care and concern for women? If so, I don't see why any intelligent woman wouldn't follow suit. Right after I started thinking about this I met my boyfriend who is from another country (but a US citizen now btw) and he is the best guy I've ever known and treats me like an equal. Potential is for young people in their early 20's coming up together. A woman over the age of about 28-30 should not be banking on potential. I just had this talk with my friend who was dating a 55 year old man. Sorry, at 55, all that he is and will be (for the most part) is done.

I don't deny that an unhealthy regard of self stunts romantic possibilities for some of those womyn but not all. Some womyn who have been disciplined about their career goals and/or educational pursuits operate in a self love that does not accommodate an incomprehensible lover. I would have appreciated a more nuanced answer, especially since she was clear to give three responses, three of her top responses, to the other question.

It doesn’t make me cocky but i would rather be single than have to deal with recovering from another failed relationship because everyone is in one. This is the conversation that those women went off the deep end with some CRAZY conversation that started @ 5:00. SMH 🤦🏽‍♀️🇺🇸

    Was in agreement until that last point. I’m educated and independent (and know some of my girlfriends who are as well) and we are all still single but not for the reason she so grossly generalized us for. She might be right about a population but I really don’t think that’s why. Strong ass women who bust their asses, put themselves through school, embrace independence are not leaving a trail of “ish” just cuz we don’t have a man. We worked too hard to settle for less. We often come off as “intimidating” because many men are insecure about their own selves. We are just living our lives, and a lot of the time we are too busy to meet people. We are not all “stuck up” just because we don’t want to settle. Very poor generalization and she lost my respect for that last part.

    I'm not sure if she was referring to being intimidating as much as being off-putting as a result of your accomplishments. I believe she said "there's a difference between I don't need you, but I want you and I don't need you, I'm not sure if I want you, so convince me why I should have you". The latter statement is vain, demeaning and conceited.

The EXACT opposite of our future husbands. For good reasoning too. And this is on a biological basis. Which one is it? Could it be they are single because they refuse to settle? Why can’t it be they’re singe because they have not found the right guy and should not settle for trash but can make the best of their singleness by exploring the world and serving others. Being single does not have to be miserable or lead to a compromising lifestyle.

    Another reason why women whom seem to have it all are single is because they limit their dating options. You must become hypergamous, date up, and be open to dating non-black men. If you do not, your options are limited in dating a high caliber man.

If those men bring more to the table than the slobs single women have been dating, then it's safe to agree those men are demanding a better quality and character of woman!

  • @thespadestable

    @thespadestable

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@LeniqueKintea - It takes two, but it takes one person to be responsible. Women are the gatekeepers of their womb, so the protection of what goes into that vagina and what comes out of the birth canal falls onto the women. If women are so concerned with the health and welfare of their child or children, they must also be keen about what's going on with the other women around them, to include responsible and irresponsible procreation. If other women are struggling, as a responsible person you don't turn around and do exactly what they are doing and expect different results. But as it stands, the government knows women (and this is for all women) can not be responsible for their wombs, so the pressure is put on men, via child support, to pay for the short-term thinking of woman. There is little to no direct punishment or loss for women when they choose to be irresponsible with their procreation choices, because there's government programs, to include family members who step in an try to keep mother's heads above water all in the attempt to keep her and her children off of the streets. The US began shutting down orphanages around the 1950's after 2 centuries of them being fairly common. Concerning "patriarchy", (a system of society or government in which men hold the power and women are largely excluded from it). Black women have made it very clear they demand to be allowed to practice autonomy, and as an independent entity within a joint venture, meaning they want to co-lead, co-be in charge. Black America pretty much operates in a grey space between a Matriarchy and Gynocracy. An ethnic group can do that when the government incentivizes their behavior with little to no consequences. There is nothing that forces Black women to vote trade with a Black men under the same roof, with single motherhood being a perfect option, because there is no one interrupting that need to practice autonomy. Nice try, but your retort came up a bit short.

How does he make you feel? Safe, beautiful, respected, heard, loved Or sad unworthy, confused, unloved Start there, analyze it, then compare to the men you have dated or attracted. YES, some women really are like that. But you cant just make 1 category and put all single, independent and educated women in it?! 1st Take: "My advice to women is date all of them: the bad boys, the cool boys, the commitment-phobic boys, the crazy boys. But do not marry them. The things that make the bad boys sexy do not make them good husbands. When it comes time to settle down, find someone who wants an equal partner. Someone who thinks women should be smart, opinionated and ambitious. Someone who values fairness and expects or, even better, wants to do his share in the home. These men exist and, trust me, over time, nothing is sexier." Yours sincerely, Sheryl Sandberg, chief operating officer of Facebook 2nd Take: “My music is always going to make a woman feel like a bad bitch. When you make a woman feel like she’s the baddest bitch in the room, to me, that’s female empowerment.” Decently yours, Cardi B. My Humble Take: What most simps, feminist fe/males, white-knights, betas and conservative guys fail to realize: bad boys provide excitement, novelty, unpredictability and fun (fear, roller-coaster drama) to a new level. In other words, stability and commitment (no longer) won't cut it for today's 🦄. Why is that? Before she was your girlfriend, wife or lover, she already had been "run through" so many guys. And each time she slept with someone (both wo/men), she lost a part of her soul. In other words, she is no longer able to have emotional attachment in a healthy or committed way. *The Manipulated Man* by Esther Vilar *Anatomy of Female Power* by Chinweizu Ibekwe *Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars: An Introductory Programing Manual* by Anonymous Isaiah 3:12 Childish leaders oppress my people, and women rule over them.
