mary swisher I lived in Quebec City, so quite close to the US. My father was once a Greyhound bus driver and my son lives near Washington. Though the world is small, Scandinavia remains far when you hope to attend a Sissel show. It's as true for me as it is for you!

michel berube I'm sure I will never experience the thrill of seeing Sissel in concert, but meanwhile I can enjoy the experience of listening to her all the time. on youtube and her CDs (most of which have bought). She is truly one of a kind!

I first heard of you last year Sissel whilst looking for Pie Jesu to be played at my dear mothers funeral. I was totally blown away. Have listened to you regularly on utube. You have the voice of an Angel. I just listen to you all the time & get goosebumps ( if you know what they are ). Do you have any plans at all to come to the Uk to perform. I sincerely hope so. goosebumps = Norwegian "gåsehud" (gås-e = goose. hud = skin) Norwegians understand goosebumps. Sissel has never been ambicious about her career. She want to sing but not for any price. She never did tour for months. Ideal she want to go home to her own place after a performance. Mostly she tour Scandinavia for some weeks. Maybe she splits a tour in pre Christmas and post Christmas. She's rarely been abroad to the US, Japan, Wien and London. I have been wondering why the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Russia didn't invite her to sing. I think the answare is that she rejects it for some reason. But if the idea doesn't suit her, why not adjust to her if they're interested. I know she's happy with the Scandinavian market but still.
