That song is one of my all time favorites sung by the late, Sam Cooke. Boy, she is singing live and can hit those high notes as a norm unlike anyone I can recently, remember. Sissel reaches for The heavens. She’s magnificent.

One of the KZread commenters likened Sissel's singing and persona to a Ferrari race car. He stated that, while just in "cruise mode", it was enjoyable to hear and pleasant to look at, but NOT really spectacular. However, when it got out on the race track, the driver "punched" the throttle and the supercharger kicked in - THEN heads turned, jaws dropped, and voices rose in admiration !! I good simile, I think -- especially in THIS song (note at about time 1:00) !!!

I haven't listened to Sissel for a while. I was always impressed by her operatic singing, and of course how she carried the Titanic music. So i found my way here, heard her version of "In dreams" and wasn't overly impressed. I felt she should have added her operatic highs and accurate rendition of the score.. Then I listened to this. Wow! Far and away the best Sissel song I have heard! When she switched to "opera mode" and reached those clear and concise highs, I said to myself: That's what I am talking about!" And boy, as they say,: "She is easy on the eye!" Thanks for posting.
