I bought one and had to return it as it would not fit the vertical plate on my L bracket. The Sirui head uses a proprietary clamp and plate with a button release that are not compatible with Arca Swiss plates and clamps. They lack the safety screws on the the plate and the grooves for the safety screws on the clamp.

So you couldn't put a nodal slide on one? Why not just unbolt the mount, held on by the allen head screw and replace it with a standard one?

@@Warrior_Resisting_Colonialism Nothing to do with a nodal plate. It did not fit the vertical clamp on an L bracket.

@@jacdale Yeah that's what I mean. Then it wont take a nodal slide either right? That's what I want to put on mine when it comes. What I'm saying is, all you need to do is unbolt their ditch their plate with lock and replace it with a standard plate that will accept a regular l-braket like you needed it to, or a nodal slide like I want.

@@Warrior_Resisting_Colonialism It is not the plate that is the issue, it is the clamp. The nodal plate may work as it is longer than the vertical plate on my L bracket.

This head wouldn't be compatible for L plates.
