Siroko K3 Sunglasses review | Photocromic and clear lenses - 10% DISCOUNT CODE in description!

UPDATE: the good guys at SIROKO @sirokotech have been in touch! Click on the following link for a 10% discount over and above the offer price from SIROKO website!
srko.co/fede1275
At the time of filming I had purchased the glasses with my own money. Now you can enjoy the extra discount using the link.
I have been using these Siroko K3 Africa photochromic sunglasses (and a clear insert for riding in the dark) for almost 2 years. I actually bought the glasses myself, so this is my true feedback of the product.
I was looking for an affordable pair that could deliver good looks, quality photochromic lenses for the UK changing weather and an easy way of changing them to a clear lens for the night. Did they deliver?
Thank you again for watching, let me know your thoughts in the comments.
Ciao,
Federico

I've been riding with Oakley for 20 years. Last year after my last M2 got broken I came across K3 from Siroko, recommended by a friend. I had my doubts at first, specially for the lenses but surprise! I don't miss the Oakley, in fact, after 1 year riding in all conditions I can tell you it's 100% Oakley replacement. Quality of the lenses, I have the photochromic and the range is amazing, lightweight of the overall product. Comfort, and there is one things I really love, good ventilation and space I did not have any fog on the lenses. Perfect. If tomorrow I break them, I would buy the same again. Bravo Siroko! Thanks Federico for your nice reviews!

Great option! I did quite extensive research on picking up new riding glasses, but ended up sticking with Oakley. My main determinant. Safety. Riding along the road I’m always aware of rocks potentially flying from a semi. Oakley seem to meet the highest impact safely ratings, which gives me that bit of added confidence. If I were to just pick based on style for $$, these Siroko’s look great!

I've had 2 pairs of these for a few years now. Actually picked them both up on ebay as wanted something relatively cheap as I'm unfathomably prone to dropping them for various reasons... one pair lives with a clear lens, the other I interchange between iridium and black depending on my mood 😆 I went to these as in the drops or aero bars I was peering over the top of the frame and wasn't being shielded by my original ones. I don't have the "draft" issues mentioned in some of the comments with a fairly wide head for another perspective. Not had any need to replace these, solid purchase!

Nice review..very good looking pair on you.. My only note that I saw in your review regarding the fit/shape of this model is that seems that are leaving a gap under the eyes / the shape of the whole design seems that fits more higher above eyebrows and less protection below eyes..the pair look not symmetrical to the eyes but more upwards .. Thanks, Federico! First time I hear this brand, actually, but looks like it's a good value for the money. Did you consider frameless glasses at all, or does upper edge of these Sirokos not hinder sight? Btw, I got Octal MIPS (not Manta) from bike24 at a discounted price, almost twice cheaper than Manta. Neither is sold in L size in Russia. Still can't get used to my mushroom cloud look. And I'm looking to match it with Alba Stratos which is frameless. Perhaps it will compensate this mushroomness)) I wish you could make a review of Alba too.

Thank you! I am not a big fan of frameless glasses, mainly for the look. As others have noticed the Siroko sit a little high on my face, but it's greet not to impair the view when the head is down. I have an Octal, very light and comfortable, but definitely mushroom shaped. It's my favourite for the summer as the vents are very efficient.
