I get a flat match across the band with my WIlson 5000 magnet mount. Never had a bad report yet.

Center LOAD Does Not mean the Middle of the Antenna .. But the Fact You Move the Coil Away from the Roof or Surroundings You can also have a Center Loaded From Hustler Where the Coil is above the Middle.. If you use a RSM10 Spring from YEASU (Or any on else) You will Increase The Band with 2 + - MHz from Center easy Vy 73 de OZ1KS

it may not be a center loud ..but it will lift the coil up above roof racks etc

I just ordered one of these for my pickup I use a 3/8s mount on my roof was considering a 102 but I hage great range with the cheapo 25 dollar special I been running the quality of this antenna looks to be superior of any seen in the trucker shops and its 6.8 foot stinger assures me it sould perform very well

It is not really center load antenna, it is only near by. The true center load antenna was a vintage mobil antenna model DV27LC by SIRIO. When closer the coil in the middle of the mechanical shorted antenna then better the performance. Study by Rothammel Antenna book by Y2BK / DM2ABK.

A few Years back I was using Sirio with an SWR meter, I could not get the antenna to tune in. The signal on either 1 or 40 was greater than 3. I trimmed it like I was told and it kept getting worse. I trashed it and then a friend of mine told me to buy a Stryker SR-A10 CB antenna. I am a Happy Stryker owner now because I got 1.1 on channel 1, 1.1 on 19 and 1.1 on 40. Weather channels came in crisp and clear. I also was able to transmit and receive over 10 miles in an urban environment just fine. I paired SR-A10 CB antenna with SR-955-HPC and it works great. It came with very clear instructions that helped me install and tune my CB in minutes. The base magnet is strong and the antenna is well constructed. I'd buy another one.

James Gordon I drive a new Freightliner just wondering if you heard any reviews on Stryker antennas working or not working on the newer freight shakers. It’s a pain in the ass with this truck to find a good antenna

Hi there now just want to ask you somethink im 13 and I have a small 40 channle cb radio in my room I have a mag mag mount on top of a tin roof shed and I am geting a swr reading of 1.5 do you think thats alright anyway I love your vidios I watch every one

Got the normal Performer 5000 very disappointed. Exactly the same reports as the Megawatt 4000

djappnew What do you expect of two antennas of same lengh??? Nay the Performer 5000 is 7cm less tall! For shure the Performer looks mutch more solid and better made!

Everything came packed great. Hooked it up and tried to SWR it and got really high readings so took it to a pro. He tested it and said it was junk. It did not have a good ground and when he looked at it noticed it was built poorly. It was defective. Instead of this. I have Stryker SR-A10 CB Antenna and Wilson. Both are great but I will suggest you go with Stryker SR-A10 CB Antenna. (strykerradios.com/best-cb-antennas/) Pros of "Going with Stryker SR-A10": Great antenna and great price! After trimming the antenna down about an inch I was able to get the SWR's down to 1.2 on 40 as well as channel 1. I live on the border of Canada and I can get people way on the other side! Higher elevation in the woods I can get the wicked far range. It meets my expectations and far better than another 35-inch antenna out there. So if you want a good 35inch antenna, BUY THE STRYKER SR-A10 CB ANTENNA.
