@garyhstorms10 I remember back in the 1980's when there was a 4/5 port Thunderbolt near my house, you could hear the windows shake from inside the house. If I had the windows closed now, I wouldn't even notice the 2001 siren.

We have a whelen vortex about a mile from where I live.... I was trying to find more videos on them to see if they do an all clear because I have never heard one. I saw the comment about the federal-- we're far enough away at 1 mile even with the whelen that unless you have very sharp hearing it's difficult to hear it unless you are outside. :-/

Please understand I come from England... If they ran a Siren for that long at 8.15pm in a residential area over here...It just wouldn't be tolerated! People would go Crazy about it...haha!!!

i bet that 2001 is very irratating the whole time and do you think it should be moved away from were you live i think the Thunderbolt 1000Ts still have great sound coverage than the 2001 and i wonder what made Minneaplis install 2001s in random places anyway i think they wasted a lot of money doing that

@JPa311979 We don't have any 'Killer' weather? We also don't live in houses made of wood or build on places that flood. We have nothing that requires a Siren that's sounds like it should only be used in the event of a Nuclear Attack!!! (Which do we have) Tornadoes I can understand...But we don't get any? Please remember...Different Countries have different attitudes...What suits one...Doesn't suit another. This would be considered a little OTT...by the British people...Don't hate me please :)
