High five!

Ahh memories. This reminds me of my middle school days, when I first got in to Sirenia. I remember a lot of people were criticizing this singer, and I never understood why. I guess it was because this album sounded different than their previous albums and many people disliked the change. I however was open minded. I was young back then and it amazed me seeing female fronted metal bands, it wasnt common back then at least where I’m from. I even said to myself “one day I’m going to be the first front woman of a metal band” (never happened lol) I was new to the genre and exploring new styles of music. I eventually got in to many different bands and never knew what became of them until this song randomly popped in my head. It takes me back to that time where I would put my headphones on and blast their music. Life really was easy back then.

Я даже сказала себе: “Однажды я стану первой фронтменкой метал-группы” (этого никогда не случалось, лол). Я был новичком в этом жанре и изучал новые стили музыки. В конце концов я попал во множество разных групп и никогда не знал, что с ними стало, пока эта песня случайно не всплыла у меня в голове. Это возвращает меня в то время, когда я надевал наушники и включал их музыку. Тогда жизнь действительно была легкой.

Something about this song drew me to it as a teen, an now as an adult I find myself drawn to it still. I think its a combination of the visual story being told, the great vocals and the music itself. Glad to see some things don't change with time.

Since 2010...and I'm still enjoying this piece of art.

I can't stop listening to this song... When I think of this, I ponder how our early ancestors would think of their great(x) - grandchildren singing music like this, assuming that they supported their descendants anyway. Listening/watching this song, I am reminded of viking/norse aesthetics...

Such a beautiful song. I recently started listening to Sirenia and they are great. I remember years back I would see this video all over MySpace. I so regret never bothering to check this band out back in the day.

It's a shame Monika Pederson was with them for such a short time. She's awesome and changed the sound of the band to a more melodic Gothic sound. Would have liked to see what they would have been like had they stayed together longer

I was about to say she has that perfect 90s voice.
