dman you are not wrong, I think they won back to back league titles. I’m not saying it would of been easy, I just think Ferguson would of had a game plan to take dortmund down.

Interestingly enough, it was players from Holland and Argentina who approached the referee. Also, when we talk about football teams in general most people would agree that German players are amongst the most unlikely to try to influence refereeing decisions. At least its not something which German teams, including their national team have a reputation for. Maybe im wrong but Ive always viewed them as very competitive and very fair.

I despised him when he was still managing, but looking back, I've got to admit it was pure envy. an absolute class act of a manager. we've seen other managers with better tactical acumen and systems, that revolutionised play. and we've seen other great man-managers like Zidane. but we've never seen someone as incredible at constructing then RECONSTRUCTING squads. Wenger may have built the invincibles. and Mourinho's first spell may have shook english football to its core with the best defensive team I can recall and Guardiola may have broken every conceivable record. but as amazing as these squads are, they exist in isolation, Wenger never won the title again after the Invincibles, Mourinho faded after two dominant seasons, Guardiola? we'll wait and see, but Liverpool already look set to usurp their throne. the fact that Ferguson built multiple successful generations of united squads in succession during his tenure is outrageous. I'm not sure Guardiola could ever replicate what SAF did with United. (he's always moving on to his next challenge, maybe he'll do it in the future) and I know with absolute certainty that Mourinho would never manage it. (he's always imploding long before he can get to the point where he could conceivably build a second generation of a team)

in fact bayern still lost that game. and actually nobody sprinted towards the referee. only ribery complained and he s definetly not a typical german. maybe ferguson just cant accept that his team wasnt good enough. typical british?

+1Kilili barcelona was also better than inter milan, didnt ko them out.I think this 09/10 season in the UCL was a freak season.Everybody expected barcelona, real madrid who had just bough kaka, ronaldo, benzema, alonso....plus the english sides who had dominated past 3-4 years to challenge for the title.And in the end it was inter milan, always flops in the CL, bayern munich who hadnt mattered in this comp since like 02, fucking ol lyon in the semis.....weird as fuck season this.This and 03/04 when fc porto won....teams that nobody expceted even in semis contesting the final.

There is no better in football. The better team always wins. And the better team was indeed ManUnited. The truth is Bayern would have had no chance if ManUnited had 11 men. And the truth also is that the sending off for rafael was a complete joke. The referee should be ashamed. Clear foul from van bommel before the yellow and the red was a complete joke. Well done UEFA always helping BAyern and Barcelona. So in 2013. A shame of football. How has dante not got a second yellow. There is no physical explanation for that. Completely scripted and ruined the final. I wonder which side would have won Bayern being one man down and the score being 1-1...hmmmm. I wont even talk about BArcelona in 2009 and 11. Shame for the beautiful game.

Injustice always hurts. It wont stop until Barcas 09 and 11 and Bayerns 13 title is cancelled out by uefa.

bayern got dominated and went through on a shit decision system, united played a bunch of reserves and outclassed them, and still outclassed them with 10 men.

Carlo ancelotty has more champions lgu trophies than fergie, and he started management in 1995..

+Sajid Hussain - Oh yeah, a grant total of one Serie A title in 10½ seasons with Juventus and Milan and one with PSG, in a one horse league where a bag of chips could win them the league. Ancelotti is first og foremost a great cup manager, his league record is pretty poor considering the teams he has managed.
