This dovetail jig from SIP is both accurate and easy to use. It allows the necessary offset to cut the perfect male/female dovetail joints in an instant.
The dovetail jig clamps both work pieces together at the same time giving the male and female dovetail cuts in one pass.
Manufactured from robust steel with fully adjustable work piece clamps.
Set the clamps loosely to the thickness of the boards and then use the lever cam to clamp them tightly.
The JIG comes with a dovetail cutter router bit with a bearing guide.
The dovetail joint is the ultimate mark of quality.

i have this jig but not a regular user and it's been a while, but plan a job in the next few days. How do I know how to set the backstop at the correct depth?
My pins are larger than the holes. The shot at 6:15 shows how it should turn out, with pins easily fitted into matching hole sizes. But for some reason, my pins look right, but the holes are much smaller. As a result, the pieces don't match. Anyone got any advice on what I might be doing wrong?

@@iedepot7309 I have just bought a Triton 1/4" Twin Flute Dovetail Router Cutter Bit 1/2" x 1/2" 14° from Ebay and use it with an 11.1mm guide bush with my SIP Dovetail Jig and it works great so no need to get a bearing guided bit.
Jig is fairly decent , easy to set up... but the cutter supplied with it is utter garbage , the bearing failed on the first pin and took a gouge out of the comb , destroyed the workpiece which was a very expensive bit of zebrano . would be happier if a quality cutter was provided with the jig

Found the same with my cutters bought new one but the were just as bad.used a Trend cutter with a Trend 11.1 mm.coller
