This band had it all. Greatest most unique band with the most unorthodox tribal drummer, a guitar player that came from another universe, a bass player that played a different rhythm but it worked. And at her voice. They were genius. Has to be up in the top 5 of the greatest bands.

@@normancrouch8197 This line-up only lasted 2 years, but what a blast ! Discovered the band back in 1980, saw it twice live (once in Paris in Spring 84, with Robert Smith on guitars and second time in summer 85 at a festival in Mont-de-Marsan in France, just before Killing Joke ... Siouxie has toured this year but I didn't really enjoy what I heard on KZread ... She lloks great and healthy but, unfortunately, her voice is gone for good ! Pity then !

@@65BigNorm I saw Killing Joke again in May 18th, 1989 at the National Kilburn, in London. The sound was so loud and I was quite deaf the three following days after the concert. I have all their albums but I do prefer what they did in the 80/and early 90's ... Now, it's a bit too "heavy" for me ! But a great band for sure with a crazy Jaz Coleman !

I got into this group around 1986 or 87 and had a lot of catching up to do. Budgie, at the time, influenced my drumming style quite a bit with Kalaidescope and Tinderbox. Love this group. Let's get building.

Most videos leave out Steven Severin so its just a way of bringing the universe of great musicians into better balance I guess. Maybe the cameraman wanted to reveal that Steve plays a lot (all ?) up strokes. I never realised that.

I REALLY wish I could have seen them live, but I wasn't accidentally given to this world until the year the band split up. (1996, but I'm still 13) Too bad the other Freshmans won't bother with Siouxsie since she is "too weird". Ah well, I guess I'll give them "less weird" musicians such as wonderful Bjork (boring ain't she? heh) Siouxsie rocks my vulva!

rushkagon. How can you say that? McGeoch made this Banshees era. Yes, they've had many guitarists, but McGeoch was the best, followed by Carruthers. On the other hand, Jon Klein...
