After a 2-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Sinulog Festival is back! Now with a new wider and better venue, the Cebu South Road Properties.
This year's festival was participated in by 14 dancing contingents, 8 "higantes", and 6 puppeteers. At least 40 floats gave the spectators an added attraction.
The event started with a solemn mass at the grandstand at around 9AM. The carousel parade then started and each participants presented at the grandstand. At around 8PM, the program ended with a 10-min grand fireworks display. The crowd was estimated to be at 600k+.

Congratulations also to the Cebu City government, to the Sinulog Foundation, and to all Faithful Cebuanos in Cebu City who worked hard 24/7 for a very Successful Sinulog 2023. What happened on Sunday was a testament of faith to the Señor Sto. Niño. Lola Gwen, bashers, haters, doubters, atheists, antichrists left the earth 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣. Thanks to Senyor Sto. Niño. Viva Pit Senyor. With an excellent weather and a very successful Sinulog 2023 in SRP, it was a huge Blessing and a huge Miracle. Sto. Niño blessed the Sinulog 2023 in SRP. Sto. Niño always blessed the Cebu City. Sto. Niño blessed Mayor Rama and the local Cebuanos in Cebu City. God bless us all. I love Cebu City. Never lose Faith in God. imo bai amigong cebuano.. i cant blame gwen bai, iya lang gibuhat to kay nabalaka siya sa kalapok sa venue prior sa grand parade.. ang venue palang daan mas daghan ang pabor sa old venue base sa survey sa sfi fanpage. may gani wala ni uwan, kay kung the other way around palang. this comment is not here.. you cant call someone hypocrite while using the miracle of sto nino as a leverage. peace 😎
