What Islam ignores, is that for God to forgive, there was a necessity of a restoration of our relationship with him which is what Jesus did with his death. Justice demanded death for the sinner, but once paid, that is not necessary any longer, however God requires us to forsake a live of sin otherwise he will bring judgment and wrath to those who do not repent and forsake his grace of reconciliation.

1:16 FINALLY! Someone got it! I agree with both you and the author John Hick a hundred percent. Christians violate the very definition of forgiveness and by extension mercy. Highly ironic then that they go on and on about Salvation. The essential part of Forgiveness is that there is no cost/punishment/retribution. How is it forgiveness or merciful or even just to demand that an innocent man be sacrificed, publicly tortured to death actually, for sins to forgiven? That's akin to a judge "pardoning" a criminal then demanding that he throw an innocent man in prison in exchange. The other definition that they violate is "sacrifice". They preach endlessly about Jesus being sacrificed for man's original sin. The impression they give is someone throwing himself on top of a grena to save his fellows. What they never tell you is that Jesus prayed to God to save him from the cross (I'll leave alone the contradiction of God praying to God). Jesus never wanted to be crucified. There is however a more apt word for the killing of an innocent person who never wanted to be killed - it's murder.

I agree that Jesus "never wanted to be crucified". I'm not exactly sure why Jesus couldn't face "the hour" of His crucifixion. But in the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus did say to God the Father, "not my will, but thine" ! So Jesus was obedient to God. And soon after Jesus' prayer to God, the temple guards and Judas appeared. Jesus did not resist. I accept that God is all-forgiving. God is like the father of The Prodigal Son. This father loved the son. He welcomed back the son who was lost. No disrespect intended to Muslims. Respectfully...

Useless man, you don't know what you are doing. 1.Through Adams sin came death and it was never God's plan. 2. For reversing this, God ultimately wanted someone sinless born miraculously. But who on earth other than God is capable of being sinless and could be born miraculously? 3. God himself knows that no human can do this. So he decides to come to earth taking a human form with all human weaknesses. 4. Jesus as God is born miraculously and is tested to resemble Adam but never failed, remained sinless, was crucified died and then resurrected on the third day due to his sinlessness. This he reverses death with resurrection. (Isaiah Chapter 9:6-7, 53:5) 5. Why God has three persons? God does this so as to be in Heaven as Father, to be with humankind as Son Jesus and the one who proceeds from both Father and Son is Holy Spirit. 6. God is righteousness and not cowardice that He unlike humans won't make excuses and achieve goal improperly but rather will take challenges. 7. If humankind has got the character to do sins and suffer the imperfect state for something that came through Adam's sin, then one man Jesus can also save humankind. Doesn't all this make sense? If you truly believe God of Abraham, pls reply.

@@stevenchaffin3376 Christianity in simple terms could be explained as follows.1.Through Adams sin came death. For reversing this, God ultimately wanted someone sinless born miraculously and bring resurrection. 2.Adam was born not through intercourse and if sin is inherited from Adam, a person resembling Adam born without intercourse could only reverse it as Adam was given rights over this world and here Jesus is born miraculously. But who on earth other than God is capable of being sinless and could be born miraculously. 3. God himself knows that no human can do this. So he decides to come to earth taking a human form with all human weaknesses. 4. Jesus as God, is born miraculously and is tested to resemble Adam but never failed, remained sinless, was crucified died and then resurrected on the third day due to his sinlessness. This he reverses death with resurrection. (Isaiah Chapter 9: 6-7 Genesis 3: 15 and Isaiah 9: 6-7). 5. Why God has three persons? God does this so as to be in Heaven as Father, to be with humankind as Son Jesus and the one who proceeds from both Father and Son is the Holy Spirit who resides in the hearts of good souls being the God within ourself. 6. God is righteousness and not cowardice that He unlike humans won't make excuses and achieve goal improperly but rather will take challenges. 7. If humankind has inherited the character to do sins and suffer the imperfect state for something that came through Adam's sin, then one man Jesus can also save humankind. Jesus sacrifice was to reverse death that came throught Adam and when you deny it, you say there is no end of wrong, bad and suffering, in simple words you don't need of ressurection and eternal life. This is the meaning of the sacrifice done by Jesus.

Trinity vs Tawhid (Christianity vs Islam) Trinity: Concept: One God in three distinct persons-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This doctrine is complex and raises questions about how three entities can be one. Questions : How can three distinct entities be one God? Why did Jesus, if God, pray to the Father? How can an eternal God have a "begotten" son? What happens if the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit differ in will? Complexity : The doctrine's intricacies and potential contradictions can cause doubts and confusion. The divinity of the Holy Spirit was not clearly articulated by early scholars. Tawhid: Concept : Tawhid, central to Islam, proclaims the absolute oneness of God (Allah). It asserts one Almighty God, beyond human imagination and incomparable. Attributes : God is eternal, self-sufficient, and the universe's sole creator and sustainer. Clarity : Tawhid aligns with common sense and human intuition, offering a rational approach free from divided doctrines' complexities. Harmony : Embracing Tawhid brings spiritual clarity and peace, providing a solid foundation for worship and devotion. Summary: Trinity : A complex doctrine with theological questions and potential contradictions. Tawhid : A clear, rational, and intuitive understanding of God's oneness, fostering a direct and profound connection with the divine. Tawhid offers the beauty and logic of uncompromised monotheism, bringing clarity and understanding to spiritual beliefs.

Things really got warped after The Council of Nicaea. They left that meeting and it was determined... God created man with original Sin. Then in order to pay for those Sins he unalived himself so they could be forgiven for the Sin they were originally condemned to. As it happened God supposedly asked... himself why has he forsaken himself. This Caricature paints Christ as a Schizophrenic Pagan figure. 😔

Even The Bible with it's convoluted hodgepodge of ideas, stories and accounts affirms that idea. (Psalms 40:6, Ezekiel 18:20) As for Sin it's an inescapable innate nature of man. Not something to be proud of and impossible to be rid of as well. God told us if we didn't Sin he would wipe us off the face of The Earth and replace us with a Species that did just so he could forgive us. Matthew 5:43-44 "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven." Muhammad taught to kill and enslave. Jesus taught forgiveness.... Ephesians 4:32 - Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Lord Jesus taught what no mere prophet brought before or after Him. Let's just focus on the subject of most importance - the subject of God. Jesus of the Bible preached and practiced: 1) Who is THE ONLY TRUE GOD? ✅ The Father (John 17:3) 2) Who is the God of Jesus? ✅ The Father (John 20:17) 3) Who alone to be worshipped as God? ✅ The Father (John 4:21) 4) Whose name be hallowed? ✅ The Father (The Lord's prayer) 5) Whose kingdom come? ✅ The Father (The Lord's prayer) 6) Whose will be done on earth as it is in heaven? ✅ The Father (The Lord's prayer) 7) Whom to ask for daily bread? ✅ The Father (The Lord's prayer) 8) Whom to ask for forgiveness? ✅ The Father (The Lord's prayer) 9) Whom to pray to for guidance? ✅ The Father (The Lord's prayer) 10) Who delivers from the e-v-i-l one? ✅ The Father (The Lord's prayer) Of course the term "The Father" in the J_ew_ish context. It's nothing more than a term of endearment. Christianity because of its adoption of p-a-g-a-n-i-s-m, gave God a literal Son and later made him into "God". Now you can bring me a thousand verses Oh this Oh that but unless and until you address the preaching and practice of Jesus of the Bible which I've put forth to you, all you'll be doing is just evading my points. What term Jesus used to call his God isn't as important as the identity of that God. It's dishonesty and desperation which makes the Christians deflect even though in the language of Jesus, he called his God Elaha / Alaha. Aramaic - Elaha Arabic - Allah Same God. The Jews also acknowledge that the Muslims worship the God of Abraham. They rightly categorize Christianity as P0lyth31sm / Id0l1tary / p-a-g-a-n-i-s-m.

So you are saying God cannot come down. The false from Makkah could only be a prophet upon denying Jesus as God because people would ask why would God sent a prophet after God Himself Has Come. Christianity in simple terms could be explained as follows.1.Through Adams sin came death and it was never God's plan. 2. For reversing this, God ultimately wanted someone sinless born miraculously.

Paul ❤you are a real gem the way you educate and explain things. Always with facts and reasoning. Thank you! When I was a Christian, I never understood the whole thing about why God needed a sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins... We were taught one had to be born again and accept Jesus as our 'saviour' to be accepted/forgiven. Then we were also taught that this would deal with the sin we were born with but that we had to repent of our daily sins and forgive all those who did bad things or sin against us! In those days I figured there were just things about the Bible and Christianity that were mysteries that we should accept through faith. Even the thief in the account of the crucifixion asked to be forgiven and was told 'today you will be with me I paradise' not 'hang on brother, you need to repent and accept me as your saviour first and be baptized by emersion, so sorry no can do today' 😅 I thank ALLAH that his way is straightforward and without complication. ALHAMDULILLAH. Best regards from South Sinai! 🇪🇬

The Old Testament explains why Jesus Christ (God in the flesh) had to die. He had to die to fulfill the law and save Israel who represented all mankind. We call it the Old Testament for a reason. Moses and Israel made a covenant with God that they would keep His commandments and be His priests unto the world. Marriage is a type of the covenant Israel made with God. God as the bridegloom and Israel as the bride. There are OT books of God showing Israel commit whoredom and went after other gods. They were the unfaithful wife breaking the Covenant and the price of breaking it was DEATH. Just like a marriage covenant death ends the covenant. Israel should be destroyed according to the Mosaic law. Jesus as the Son of God came to fulfill the Old Covenant and the only way to save mankind from the Old Covenant from death was for Him to die in our place. God in the flesh dying in Israel place. Now that Jesus Christ have died we have been release from the Old Covenant and free to marry another... to join with God with a NEW Testament , a New Covenant. Instead of the Covenant of Law it's a Covenant of Grace. This is what baptism means we die with Christ buried under the water and rise out of the water with a New Covenant . The Church is the bride and Jesus Christ is the Bridegroom who knows what it is to suffer as a man. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is proof the Old Covenant have been satisfy and we are free from the punishment of the Law who marries under the New Covenant , faith in Jesus Christ.

I find it odd that anyone would claim sins are not forgiven by God through repentance and supplication. God is the most Merciful indeed. There are clear verses in the Bible: Isaiah Chapter 16 Wash you, make you clean, put away the evil of your doings from before Mine eyes, cease to do evil; יז לִמְדוּ הֵיטֵב דִּרְשׁוּ מִשְׁפָּט, אַשְּׁרוּ חָמוֹץ; שִׁפְטוּ יָתוֹם, רִיבוּ אַלְמָנָה. {ס} 17 Learn to do well; seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. יט אִם-תֹּאבוּ, וּשְׁמַעְתֶּם--טוּב הָאָרֶץ, תֹּאכֵלוּ. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land; Also, more explicitly: Isaiah Chapter 24 Thou hast bought Me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou satisfied Me with the fat of thy sacrifices; but thou hast burdened Me with thy sins, thou hast wearied Me with thine iniquities. כה אָנֹכִי אָנֹכִי הוּא מֹחֶה פְשָׁעֶיךָ, לְמַעֲנִי: וְחַטֹּאתֶיךָ, לֹא אֶזְכֹּר. 25 I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for Mine own sake; and thy sins I will not remember. The Lord's prayer also affirms that God forgives sins through direct supplication as mentioned.

What a contrived but wonderful demonstration of intellectual gymnastics! There's insufficient space here to bring all the scriptures to bear but the bible teaches that the wages of sin is death, and separation from God. This requires two elements... i) Payment for the sin- death ii) forgiveness from God..... If the sin is paid (it has by Jesus but to be counted against our account we have to accept it), God will forgive but this does NOT mean that we can gain salvation either from the payment itself or God's forgiveness without the payment. Indeed the bible makes it clear God will not even cannot simply forgive (against His character of justice). As for Mt 6:12 "Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who have sinned against us" It always makes me a mixture of sad and amused when so called intellectual scholars ignore the bleeding obvious in order to come with their own highly intelligent new interpretation/application as John Hick does here and Paul laps up so eagerly with almost palpable desire! Just take a breath, a large step back and ask the question "What is the context?" Is Jesus telling us something, teaching us divine laws, commanding us to avoid things or what? No, it's obvious He is teaching us to pray.... If you get the mind blowingly obvious error that ensure from this, congratulations, you're not like John Hick (blinkered by intellectual prowess) or Paul Williams (blinkered by Islam). For those who don't get it but don't want to repeat this lame and ridiculous argument to make themselves look really foolish over and over again....... Jesus is teaching us what to pray. He is not simply giving us precise words to use in prayer but the principles we should adopt in our prayers. (..although if we are simply minded we can just use the exact words). Whatever the case it's clear we cannot simple say these words like magic thinking they hold value in of themselves but that we must mean them. They must reflect our attitude to God... we should hallow His name, will His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven, etc. In that context "forgive us our sins" is an expression of desire to God that He alone can forgive our sins and that we NEED that forgiveness. Why else would Jesus instruct us to ASK for God's forgiveness if we don't need forgiveness because we've forgiven others as Hick and Williams contend here? It's absurd! ...but it's worst than that! The word "as" here is critical not for the application of God's forgiveness but to reflect our desire! If we are truly in line with God then we only want to be forgiven as much as we forgive others. This is enormously different from Jesus making the point that all we need for salvation/forgiveness of our sins is to forgive others. Indeed it may actually be that we are completely incapable of totally forgiving others and by the principle advocated here thereby ever being forgiven by God - which would make a mockery of Jesus instruction. So ""Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who have sinned against us" isn't a reflection of biblical principle or reality but an attitude we ought to have. ..but even that's not the full reason the principle being jumped on here is so obviously wrong! In this verse we are asking God to forgive us like we forgive others. How do we forgive others? Willingly or unwillingly, partially or fully, gradually or instantly, in truth or falsely, in our mind or in our heart, etc. In other words there are lots and lots of ways we can forgive others and the "as" or "like" could quite obviously be referring to the way we forgive rather than any prerequisite or doctrine that led to the point of forgiveness. In other words, we are told to ask God to forgive us in the exact way we forgive others and that should cause us to reflect on the truth that we need the payment and God's forgiveness.... It's pretty obvious that you can't use an instruction to pray as a guide for things not included in the prayer, unless you're desperate to criticise!

Sir I appreciate your reviews of these topics and books. I absolutely agree 100 percent that ultimately it is YHWH who forgives and saves the genuinely repentant soul. The problem is we still have a dilemma, namely the result of our sin which is death. The NT says in Hebrews 2 “through death He might destroy him that had the power of death - that is, the devil - 15 and deliver those who all their lifetime were subject to bondage through fear of death.” We needed a “conquerer of sin and death”, we needed a man, a real man, namely the Messiah, who “knew no sin” “to be sin on our behalf”. Why? To conquer or overcome Satan sin and death! To be the way maker, back to the Father. Adam sold us all as slaves to sin and in turn death, we needed a second Adam to undo what the first Adam did, bring us back to the beginning to immortality and eternal restoration to the Father in perfect union again. Justice demanded that a man conquer Satan and his work. Elohim could not do this work it had to be a son of Adam to redeem Adam and his lineage! So the redemption brought us back to the Father, but the payment was not to the Father. The payment of Yeshuas blood/ his life was a payment to justice in a sense, which made Yeshua our master instead of Satan! Yeshua died a death he did not owe to release us from the bondage of sin Satan and death for the purpose that we serve the Father becoming like our Messiah. We will one day be like him, perfect, sinless, raised to immortality, and glorified. We will rule with him in our Fathers Kingdom. YHWH forgives us because we all sinned and fallen short of this glory! But ultimately we are given renewed life because of the work of our Messiah making the wrong of Genesis 3 right! Sadly anyone who does not believe in the Father and the son will not be saved from death! That is a trap that only gets undone by the work of our Messiah! Believe this and you to will be saved!

I appreciate this presentation, especially the parable of the Prodigal Son. That's one of my favorite teachings by Jesus. I'm a simple Christian believer and i believe that our perception of our unworthiness and our desire to repent brings forgiveness from God the Father. The mystery of Jesus' crucifixion is difficult to understand but through Jesus' obedience to God ( "not my will... " ), God's love came down. God has not abandoned us because of our sins. God's mercy and forgiveness is like a gift. The Prodigal Son accepted the father's love and forgiveness. Peace of God to Muslims and Christians.

Forget this story of crucifixion of pagan, satanic origin, as among the Mayans, Egyptians, etc., which neither Jesus pbuh nor any other prophet before him taught. It's a doctrine like so many other false beliefs that were preached and then introduced into the Bible many years, centuries, after the "departure" of Jesus pbuh. When Jesus pbuh himself is asked how to obtain eternal life, he doesn't beat about the bush, saying "believe in my death on a wooden stake" to be saved from hell, gain paradise. He says this: Matthew 19:17 He said to him, "Why do you ask me about what is good? Only one is good. If you want to enter life, *keep the commandments.* Each of us will bear our sins (burdens) as stated in the Bible and the Koran. So this story of a self-sacrificing God, of a savior God from a Pagano Roman cult, of their deities, like many things in Christianity, is quite far-fetched and even contradicts Hebrew tradition... which says Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sins will die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of his father, and the father shall not bear the iniquity of his son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. Jeremiah 31:30 But every man shall die for his own iniquity; Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; the soul of the son as well as the soul of the father, both are mine; the soul that sins, that is the one that will die. 2 Kings 14:6 But he did not put to death the sons of the murderers, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, where the Lord gives this commandment: The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor shall the children be put to death for the fathers; but every man shall be put to death for his sin. Deuteronomy 24:16 Fathers shall not be put to death for the sake of their children, nor shall children be put to death for the sake of their fathers; but every man shall be put to death for his own sin. And the Koran, Allah, reminds us of the same thing... Koran sura 35 verse 18 "No one shall bear another's burden. And if a soul overburdened [with sin] calls for help, none of his burden will be borne by another, even if he is a close relative. In fact, you warn only those who fear their Lord despite not seeing Him, and who perform Salat. And whoever purifies himself, purifies himself only for himself, and to Allah is the destination." Christianity in simple terms could be explained as follows.1.Through Adams sin came death and it was never God's plan. 2. For reversing this, God ultimately wanted someone sinless born miraculously.

These witnesses to the NT text do not agree with each other on many points, but few of these differences are significant. No autograph or original manuscript of a New Testament book has been preserved; the differences occurred during the copying of the original. *Not all are the result of copyists' errors; some are the result of deliberate changes.* Copyists sometimes felt obliged to *improve* the Greek of the received text, to *modernize* spelling, *add* explanatory phrases, *harmonize* the Gospels, and even *omit* a point they considered doubtful. The time and place God chose to bring the substitutionary atonement became a reality even though Jesus was killed from the foundation of the world. Paul is preaching a new covenant which superseded the Old Testament covenant until this one was ratified which is what Jesus did. From this point on, the Old covenant was no more because the way of the Spirit of God began. This is what Paul preached to the Galatians who did not understand what Jesus accomplished and wanted to go back to the written Law. God did not get rid of the Law, on the contrary, he made it possible by our inner transformation to fulfill it, this is what Romans 13:9 is all about.

I honestly appreciate your approach in saying that there was a marrying of sorts of the old law and the new, but by saying this, you are asserting that by Jesus "fulfilling" the law he is abrogating it COMPLETELY, which makes his works that he actually did and preached while he was alive useless, especially considering that he was only preaching for what consensus of many scholars agree to be 1 Year, but even if we agree it to be 3 years, so we are supposed to believe that Jesus came to deliver a message of unwavering faith to the Laws of old, his minor updates to them, and then only for a man called Paul, who saw Jesus in a Vision, who clearly couldn't convert Jews to his form of Christianity because they knew the law, they knew what Jesus taught, so he preached to the gentiles who knew nothing of the laws and never cared for them anyway, i should take his word over Jesus? in summary, Jesus spent his entire life preaching the laws, telling his disciples to follow the laws, teach the laws, learn the laws, we even see them continuing to follow the laws in the book of Acts and punish Paul for disobeying the laws and then Paul comes later and says forget the laws, rabbit in the hat, the laws are now love thy neighbor? this is quite a reach if you accept this narrative, to each his own ofcourse, and were just discussing, if you even agree to reply, but in my honest opinion it seems there is a huge disconnect between Jesus and Paul no matter how you try to Marry them, i dont see the unification in their teachings, or in Pauls story in general, i dont see him as a uniter for a religion, a prophet or a disciple, he doesnt fit the bill for me, in todays language, hes mad sus. but please, i am curious, how do you still see this as a unification and not 2 completely different ideologies which i understand you agree are different, but surely not the message of Jesus.

He did not abolish the Law of God but because of his sacrifice, God has been able to make us righteous by faith in that sacrifice. The only way to be able to fulfill the whole Law is by loving. Love is what Jesus preached and Love is a fruit that comes from our union with the Almighty and this happens by faith in what Jesus did on the cross. We receive Jesus’s righteousness and the Almighty by giving us his Spirit, renew us and sanctify us so that we become more and more loving just as Jesus was. My assessment is that Jesus based on the scripture came ONLY to the lost sheep of Israel, he preached the laws endlessly and what's curious, is even though he said he should die and come back etc, his disciples never seem to show this sentiment after Jesus died, they literally call it an Idle tale when they are informed that Jesus has risen, imagine how many times were they told he would rise after dying, and their not sitting and waiting for him, they genuinely believe he is dead, gone forever, till they see him in that upper room. For me thats a very telling story and similar to what critics say about the "This generation shall not pass" verse as the most embarrassing verse in the bible, I almost have to agree that those words of him saying that he has to die and comeback are also attributed to Jesus rather than he said them in actual fact, because for me, if he said he's going to die and comeback, I'm sitting waiting for him, I'm not sitting and saying it's an Idle tale almost like I've never heard such a thing. Preaching love is not going to make people love each other, there has to be a change of heart and that is what Christianity is all about. Jesus will come back, and in a sense he has come back because the Spirit of the Father is connected to him also, therefore, in a spiritual sense Jesus is in the heart of the believer, and not only him but the Father is there also. There is a second coming we are waiting for, and we think it is not very far away when we consider our present conditions. I think the biggest question should be even for Christian Apologist who got it right Jus or Christian. You can't have a same Bible with two different religion at the same time. If Jesus said I am the way then his way is JUWISH. He was a practicing Juw. He worship same God Juw worshiped and according to Juws they worship one God not Triune God. Jesus would follow the old Testament and worship the way Juws did, circumcise, not eat pork. According to Christian scholar 3 to 400 years later anonymous authors did 360 on biblical Jesus. Council of Niceae Roman emperor along with his leaning bishop decided if Jesus should be a Man or Divine. So bunch of Men decided who should be God. Then order to kill or capture or Banish anyone who goes against this single idea. He fed Unitarians to lions. So the idea that There is only One God and Jesus is his prophet is as old as old Testament. Muslims can't take all the credit for reiterating it. There were Christian at that time with same idea. So the issue is not Muslims also it's a good distraction for Christian Apologist because they get paid good for distraction. What I found strange is Christian Apologist avoid people who allegedly put Jesus on the Cross. However, they piss on people who say Jesus peace be upon him. A dishonest approach and they cheat their followers into believing a boogyman that is not there. Also a solid tell who really pays them if Christian Apologist were smart very easy to figure this out. The real elephant in the Room is between Christian & Juws who out of these groups is on the correct path and just like you can't have two Guns in the same holster you can't have people holding same books say both are right. So if Christian Apologist were real which they are not then this would be their main debate point.

John 1:1, 14 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ... And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father. This is one of the most well-known “proof texts”. Jesus is eternal (here, “beginning” means “eternity past”). He was with God the Father, and is God the Son. To make sure that the reader has no misunderstanding, John (v. 14) reiterates that the “Word” referred to is the Son, and notes that he “became flesh” (the incarnation). Only the Son has a body. The Word = Jesus = God. John 10:30 - I and the Father are one. Jesus' hearers, unbelieving Jews, certainly understood his intent in saying this, because they tried to stone him, as the next verse informs us, since they didn't believe his claim, which, if indeed untrue, would be intolerable blasphemy. John 10:33 informs us that they tried to stone him because (in their words) “you, being a man, make yourself God.” John 20:28 - Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!” This had to do with the famous “Doubting Thomas” incident. Thomas didn't believe Jesus had risen, so Jesus appeared for his sake and told him to touch the wound in his side. Then Thomas believed and said this. If it were untrue, Jesus would have corrected him, but he didn't; He commended Thomas because he “believed.” Colossians 1:19 - For in him all the fulness of God was pleased to dwell. In context, it is the Son who is being described (1:13); he is eternal (1:15, 17-18), the Creator (1:16), and the unifying principle of the universe (1:17; cf. Heb 1:3): all attributes true only of God. Paul makes the notion even more explicit in the next chapter: Colossians 2:9 - For in him the whole fulness of deity dwells bodily ... 2 Peter 1:1 - ... our God and Savior Jesus Christ ... St. Paul uses the same phrase in Titus 2:13 as well. Hebrews 1:8 - But of the Son he says, ‘Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever, the righteous scepter is the scepter of thy kingdom.’ This is a remarkable passage, in which God the Father calls his Son “God.” It is a reference to the Old Testament passage, Psalms 45:6-7. In Hebrews 1:6, God the Father also says that all the angels should worship God the Son. Worship can only be rightly applied to God, as we know from Exodus 34:14 and Deuteronomy 8:19. Yet Jesus accepted worship of himself on many occasions (e.g., Matthew 14:33; 28:9) and stated that he should be honored equally with the Father (John 5:23). In Revelation 5:8, 12-13 and Colossians 2:6-7, we find that Jesus is worshiped in every way that the Bible specifically describes worship of God the Father, with all the same words used (see: Revelation 4:9-11, 5:13; 7:11-12, and Romans 11:33).

its actually kind of satanic if one thinks about it. they say its a gift without a condition thats why they get to Heaven by faith alone and independent of their works. but if you need to have faith.. isnt that a condition? 😂 also what kind of test would life be if you could live it however as long as you have faith?

paul and satan shared the same mantra ' god not one /trinity. good deeds uses'. Jesus taught the opposite of Paul/satan ' faith/monotheismwithout good deeds is like good deeds without faith. useless ' the exact opposite of what Paul taught. Muhammad/islam broke the tie. ' All who worship the one god only. and do good deeds will get their reward '

The trinity proclaims there is one God. You don't know the difference between tritheism from the Trinity. The church preached against tritheism centuries before your prophet was born. Who lied to you and claim Trinity teaches tritheism? Tritheism (from Greek "three divinity"[1]) is a NONTRINITARIAN Christian heresy in which the unity of the Trinity and thus monotheism are DENIED. It represents more a "possible deviation" than any actual school of thought positing three separate deities.[2] It was usually "little more than a hostile label"[3] applied to those who emphasized the individuality of each hypostasis or divine person Father, Son and Holy Spirit over the unity of the Trinity as a whole.[1] The accusation was especially popular between the 3rd and 7th centuries AD.[1]

When the fiery tongues descended on the apostles, they spoke all languages, and even the Indians admit that when the apostle Thomas arrived to them, he spoke the Indian language. Muslims insulted the true God in many ways, including that he only speaks Arabic. Insults they will pay for when remorse is of no use ..............

Jesus the Son of Mary saw a person stealing. Thereupon, ‘Jesus asked him: 'Did you steal?' He said: 'No, by the One (Allah) besides Whom there is no god.' So ‘Jesus said: 'I believed in Allah and disbelieved my eyes (what my eyes saw).' "This hadith narrated by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) illustrates the deep reverence and trust that prophets have in Allah, the Most High. Jesus (peace be upon him) saw a man who appeared to be stealing. However, when the man swore by Allah that he had not stolen, Jesus chose to believe the man's oath instead of his own perception. This demonstrates Jesus's profound respect for Allah and his belief that oaths sworn by Allah's name are sacred and truthful."

We are the Pure Spirit, which is INNOCENT! it's only because of this ego and these conditionings (super ego) that we 'Think' that WE are sinners, otherwise what is the sin???.... If a tiger wants to eat, it kills, it doesn't feel guilty, or think that it should become a vegetarian, because it has NO ego, or if an elephant tramples someone to death, still it is innocent ' we Are the Pure Spirit, but it is also this that we must also BECOME, becoming IS the Point!!! This ALL Scriptures have said this same thing, we must be born Again, we all must achieve our Self Realisation! Sahaja yoga is different from other yoga, because it STARTS with Self Realisation, instead of that being an unobtainable goal, of a false practice/ritual!!! BTW Sahaja yoga is NEVER ritulistic, but it is a protocol, for achieving (And Mantaining) our Second Birth!

To say that the Almighty only had to forgive our sins without dealing with the consequences of them justly, in order to make everything all right goes against everything that Paul taught and even this idea goes against the Sacrificial system of the Old Testament. It is said that Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world. What this means was that for God, Jesus’s sacrifice for the substitutionary atonement was a done deal. So God could forgive without bringing a substitutionary sacrifice up every time he needed to forgive, because this had already been taken place in his mind even though there was a time and place when this actually occurred. God can forgive now because he has taken care of that debt by the death of his son. Not only that, but thanks to this death, God can now give us of his Spirit which is what allows our transformation so that we are born a new creation of his capable of true righteousness. God could not have been able to offer his Spirit without the death of his righteous son. So, Just because the Lord’s Prayer does not include an act of atonement, it does not mean God did not have to take care of this at some moment in time, which is what he did.

"It is said that Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world." So it was by demons all the way back in the mists of prehistory and not by a gang of Roman soldiers on Friday, April 3, 30 CE? Get your asserted "facts" straight!

@@user-uo7fw5bo1o it appears you do not understand what is called prophetic perfect tense. To say that Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world means that in the plan of God Jesus was already slain even though this did not happen until he was born and killed.

Poor old Christianity at it again. Christianity: a desolate haunted church in a nightmarish landscape. Islam: ancient looking Arabs, studying in airy Arabian buildings in filtered sunlight or together facing a bright dawn in a 1001 Arabian Nights city. Simplistic messages for simple folk.

Sorry but no. Here’s an example. A woman caught in the act of adultery was being stoned by the town. Jesus drew a line on the ground and said those who are without sin can pick up the first stone.. not one man was able to do so and thus, Christ saved the woman. He told her to go, sin no more.. Mohammad on the other hand orders stoning as punishment for adultery. Islam and the teachings of Christ are NOTHING alike. You need to stop spreading fallacies and actually learn about Islam and christian scripture buddy. Don’t cherry pick

To punish an innocent man, in this case Jesus Christ, is not the reason for God's forgiveness. For Jesus to die as a substitute for man i.e. instead of man is not the righteousness of God and does not exact forgiveness. There was a need for a mediator, a High Priest under the Mosaic law and was a shadow of the mediator of a new covenant to come where sins could be forgiven in a once only sacrifice. But I won't go into the true meaning of the atonement because if you are given to understand you will do - find out for yourself. All you know is what apostate Christianity wrongly conjectures.
