Thanks for the review gents. For the price it's a bit of a bargain Seen another review and apparently two guys rode a pair of these to Mongolia from the UK so Chinese/far East are junk is becoming a tad old hat. Be interested in your 380 review, many thousands of riders just don't have the incomes to afford Africa twins ,BMWs etc. The HONDA 50 outsold any bike ever made just because It was affordable reliabilty for the masses . Seen plenty of them in the far East going off road with the whole family on-board the poor little thing Now that is what i call an adventure.

Motorcycle gears are very simple, much easier than a car for example. Left hand is clutch, left foot operates the gears. It’s down for 1st gear and then up for the rest of them, and of course down again when you’re slowing down.

It’s shameful that adults have to ride 125s in England. 125cc’ are literally toddlers bikes, 5yrlds ride 125s. CBT should be for all bikes depending on cc and age. Everything else is just a waste of time and money.

Which is true until one considers the statistics proving the aspirations of many adults far outstrips their ability. From what I understand when CBT was introduced the novice rider death rate did fall but one cannot completely legislate for stupidity. My instructor yesterday said he sees young lads on his course listening to the importance of protective gear then the next day sees them out in shorts, t shirt and a basic helmet. Perhaps it’s the Darwin theory in practice. Almost any motorbike offers brisk performance around a dangerous urban environment. A friend of mine that was a police motorcycle instructor told me about the number of brand new licence holders that had gone straight out and bought something powerful. They’re not with us anymore. I’m not getting into biking for the speed, my car fulfils that. It’s about the journey and my taste of it yesterday was fantastic.
