Venturing out is not something to speak of. I remember telling my pastor at the time that I had an opportunity to move across state for a very good job opportunity and his wife burst into tears. @@BillDallasLewis you are so correct. The expectations from parents in the Midwest in the 70’s and 80’s were logical, but not progressive. Thank God for teachers who helped us to develop dreams of our own. I was fortunate to have a mother who went against status quo as did Savvy’s mother. My mother became a school teacher and Savvy’s mother became a nurse. The other mothers surrounding us for the most part were stay at home mothers or at a factory.🤣

Great interview Bill. I used to go to Muskegon to watch my friend‘a son play hockey at the rink there. Great town. Going to subscribe to her channel. By the way I’ve been in Lakeside since 2019 Many single woman. At Scallions Ajijic Bistro there’s usually 7- 1 woman per man on the dance floor. Sometimes 7-3
