These controllers are still very popular, but I have a question about it: Does it memorize the dimming level if the power supply is turned OFF and re-energized ON the following day? Or it “forgets” the configuration and must be locally key-pressed after that? Thank you!

so could i unplug the power source to the led while in strobe, and have it resume in strobe mode, or does it reset itself when power is disconnected ?

Hi @eross21. If you unplug it from the power source, the controller will recall the last setting it was on, and restore it automatically when powered on again. However, it is important to note that we no longer offer this driver in our e-commerce.

Hi there!, I have some Multi Color LEDs like the you have in the video, but mine aren't coming on!?!? Do you know what it could possibly be? Tried different 9v batteries, different brands. PLEASE HELP!

Brandon, the LEDs need 12v, not 9v to work. You can get a 12v battery pack off amazon that uses 8 aa batteries. Shoot me a private message and I can help further

by multi color do you mean RGB if so you need a RGB controller first

Hi. Has it memory? Like if i turn on strobe than turn off power and turn back on it will strobe or just light up ?

So this controller is definitely a Pulse width modulation (PWM) type dimmer?

I connected a dimmer to 8W LED strip. The dimming effect is barely visible. Is it supposed to work like this?

Hi there! I was planning on installing one of these on my car as a dimmer/ voltage regulator on my car. As you would probably know, the voltage on a car varies considerably from 12V up to 18V. I know from prev. experience that 18V will blow LEDs in a few months, so I was just wondering if this dimmer can turn, say, 18V down to 12V without any long term damage. If this thing cannot, could you recommend another product which can? Thanks

I bought 4 of these similar dimmers from Amazon UK for 54 pence each www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00LHKMLMC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The voltage input range is 5v-24v. I have tried them with 12v strip leds. Also soldered a single 3v white led with 100 ohm resistor and powered via USB (5v) worked.
