Great reaction. From a time when the talent in Hollywood were multi-skilled, most could sing, dance and act. He was one of the best.

This is one of my favorite musicals from 1952. I own the movie & have watched it many times. Great songs & terrific dancing! It was directed & choreographed by Gene Kelly & Stanley Donen.

Debbie Reynolds is the actress he kissed at the door. She was the mother of Carrie Fisher of Star Wars fame. It's so nice that you thought that rain was real. I think that testifies to Gene Kelly's ability to bring life to a scene, because that scene was shot on a Hollywood set with the movie makers spraying water everywhere. It took them three days to shoot it and Kelly was sick with a fever at the time. Another classic Gene Kelly film from that era is An American in Paris (1951). It features a 17 minute dance scene set to music George Gershwin wrote for the film.

Great reaction, I STRONGLY recommend you watch the movie, it’s a timeless classic. Other scenes to react to *for our viewing pleasure* are: Fit As A Fiddle, All I Do Is Dream Of You, Make’em Laugh, Moses Supposes and Good Morning.

I agree with you, it is a great one

The 4-time World Championship-winning, Canadian figure skater, Kurt Browning did a truly awe-inspiring skating recreation of this number, using the original soundtrack & a very close set reproduction. Handing his "bumbershoot" to the cop instead of to the passerby is the most noticeable difference in the choreography. It's on "the tube".

One of my very favorite musicals of all time. Gene was one of the greatest singers/dancers of his era.

This is always awesome and I would to see you react to the Nicholas Brothers in the greatest dance sequence (With Cab Calloway) This is also awesome

If you like the golden age of Hollywood musicals, Gene Kelly was one of the biggest stars and dancers from that era. Even if you don't do movie reactions you would like 'Brigadoon', another great 50s musical with Gene. There is also a three- part documentary that is really awesome to watch, and showcases many of the stars and films from the MGM musical era, called 'That's Entertainment'.

I can't believe that no-one mentioned that this song was used in a very bizarre way in the movie "A Clockwork Orange". Great performance though here.
