If you think you're on pitch, think again! Recording is so important. If you're off pitch like me, here are some ways to help. 1 - try singing it without playing this video. This would give you a better feeling of how you sound. 2 - think of the note before singing it. attack the note from over, not under. 3 - Play it slow, better safe than sorry.

thanks so much for these great lessons. To push the concept further: would you recommend we approach many of our melodies or riffs in this way, moving them up and down the keys? well I think it's something ill be doing more of anyway. Mark, how about playing the tunes or riffs that aren't accompanied in octaves? Then i can more easily switch to the octave that suits or, perhaps, exercises my range.

i really enjoy your videos and also follow them quite often. I have this one query.... when does one reach to the highest potential in singing??

+saum r Thank you. That's a very hard question to answer, it's different for each person. And some people would say you never actually reach the highest potential - there's always more to learn! But practicing daily will make you improve a little bit every day, and over time (months and years) you'll become wonderful!

Can y'all do chest voice or mixed

Hi guys! I've been doing exercises but this winter has not been kind. I've had a bacterial virus, the flu, and I'm still dealing with my double ear infection with a cough. The point being I have lost my head voice completely and I have a fraction of a good round rich sound of the rest of my voice. Any suggestions? Any really good exercises to rebuild my voice?

Are there sheets available as a pdf download? It would be helpful to see what Mark is referencing for the exercises (vocal line as well as accompaniment). Thank you so much!
