I never liked the original but Dimash’s arrangement is different and I actually like this one a lot. Love the flute in the beginning, the loneliness tone in first phrase, the desperation tone in second, the anger tone in third and finally the surrender tone at the end. He changes a two dimensional song into a journey.

@@zvolencan1 the songs originator Lionel Richie and his promoters banned it. my take on it was Dimash's version blew Richies by a long way and i feel that they knew it and basically a little jealously on their part

@@dakotaconners107 Not true. If Dimash is not able to sing this again it is not because of jealousy. It is more likely because Singer is know to not get copyright permission to use a song on the show creating an issue with the copyright holder of the song. This has happened with them and the songs by Queen too. Lionel Ritchie is not the jealous type, and always appreciates someone else singing his songs.

@@maryE05 this probably part of it however; if you saw the other songs Dimash sang in the singer, such as a tribute to MJ and All By Myself, which require the same copyright rules were never challenged. another thing about the jealousy interpretation is another song Dimash sang was OPERA 2 and Vitas banned Dimash from singing that song. so i tend to believe there was a hint of jealousy on their part
