This beautiful young lady is the PERFECT human being in my humble opinion, and i am 70 years old and have seen or heard most of the greats, and they are greats, but Angelina is the greatest of all time.

From Iowa, USA; OK, WOW ❗🤗🌹 1. An important thing to remember about AJ is that she refused to sign for a record deal through AGT and they relented and invited her to sing anyway. 2. AJ is currently signed with Republic Records. 3. AJ began singing at 18 months. Her grandmother was a jazz/blues fan and played that genre of music for AJ. She fell in love with it very early on and has even arranged most if not all that she sings from age 8. What an incredible talent. 4. Currently in 2022 she is in her mid-teenage years, stands 6 foot tall and still performs barefoot. The backstory of her encounter with the homeless girl she met while she traveled with her family through Iran at age 6 includes the weather damaged bare feet of the child she gave her own shoes to. 5. The reason she performs barefoot is to bring awareness to her public of the children worldwide who can't afford shoes of their own. She has raised millions of dollars for clothing including shoes for those unfortunate children. 💕 6. AJ sews her own clothes, (the cloth is designed by her grandmother). 7. It looks like Lana first performed this song in 2013, when she was 28 years old. It's amazing how well Angelina is able to create such complimentary renditions to original artists at such an early age.

Thankfully well over 100 channels, who react to Angelina, now follow your suggestions Ron. I like to believe if the vast majority of reaction channels did a great job boosting the analytics for each artist, then maybe, just maybe, more artists and record companies would ease up on their copyright claims. I know for sure, if only very few reaction channels support the artist, then it certainly won't happen.

I hadn't heard the original so I checked it out...I find Angelina's version has so much more soul and she made it her own for sure , love them both though.

I absolutely love Angelina's version it's better than the original hands down

All I'll say is that this girl has proven to me, after hearing about 175 or more of her presentations in multiple genres, that she is the most versatile singer I have ever experienced in my life. Heartfelt ballads always contain the 'breathy' inflections she learned from the great Billie Holiday and they just add so much more passionate penetration than any other ballad singer I have ever heard.

She has a beautiful voice. I enjoyed it.

Very well Andrea, in this song I feel that Angelina was in a good mood, light and loving what she was doing. She had the opportunity to be sweet, go up and down as she likes and connect everything with a lot of musicality. Angelina's technical qualities in this song remind me of another performance of hers, Million years ago, where she generates a lot of emotion, at least for me.

Angelina always arranges her own covers and originals, the sign of a amazing vocalist like Angelina is making a song your own , she is absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to see Angelina live this month in France 🇫🇷!

Larry Pifer 1 second ago Every song AJ performs is the right one for her, and her alone. She is the most versatile, and talented being on the face of this earth. She has the ability to make one want to listen to a song that they would have passed by in the past, every performance is a precious jewel.

Angelina indeed has a very beautiful lower register. You can hear it in ‘You make me feel so young’ and ‘How great thou art’. The last one is probably the most quiet one I have hear her singing. I think you are right that Lana’s version is more haunting. Angelina’s version has more melancholy and sadness to it. Haunting means there is still hope, melancholy means hope is gone. In Dutch there is the expression ‘Asking the question, is answering it’: Angelina expresses to me that she already knows that the answer is ‘No’.

The bridge in this is fantastic edp. "diamonds" and the slurring makes this so rich.

The album is instrumental and the music is dark and takes the listener along a journey into the human soul. The last track on the album is about the hope and the discovery of joy at the end of the journey. Nico Cartosio wanted a vocalist on that last track and he chose Angelina Jordan to deliver it. The lyrics were adapted from Robert Burns 1783 poem Rigs O’Barley. Thus came “A Song For A”. “A” most likely stands for Angelina or maybe for Annie Rankine who was Robert Burns poem subject. Well for now let’s say it stands for Andrea 😊😊😊 Thank you and keep up the good work.

Music is the language of our souls. We feel the emotions direct with our hearts and are able to synchronize in resonance. I am always looking to the faces of her musicians and the audience when she sings Life. She was talking about the energy she gets from her listeners in one of her first TV interview after winning NGT 💕💞😇

Hi Andrea, long time no see! My fault really - haven't been checking in too often. But great to see you!. Interesting reaction! Especially your point about the slight slurring of the lines; I wonder of that has something to do with the way she pronounces her vowels versus the way she emphasises consonants. I don't know, I am just guessing here. You make a good point though. Liked the couple os lines you sand of that song to show off that guitar, which by the way sounds fabulous. I think you just play it well. You have a different vibrato in these lines I thought. Lovely! and thank you!

Everything Angelina does is wonderful, but this cover isn't one of my favorites. I think it is just too mellow for my tastes. There are a couple others that she sings in a very subdued voice and I feel the same about them. She approaches different songs in so many different ways I guess everyone no matter how much someone loves an artist they are going find few out of 100s that don't impress as much as the rest. Thank you Andrea for another great reaction video.
