I can only tell the story from a tourists point of view. I flew with Singapore Airlines several times and i always realized how disciplined and well organized this airline is. As a traveller and aviation geek you feel the perfectnes of this airline. It's a perfect ambassador for Singapore. I always felt superb and safe on board. Your pilots gave me a real safe feeling and the legendary Singapore girl dressed flight attendents were so friendly and taking care. No way. As a European i am a big fan of Singapore Airlines.

Thank you for this video. My husband and I just flew first time on Singaporean Airlines for our visit to Singapore in April. I appreciate your passion for your career and it really shows through in all the details you put forth in your preparation and your comments about what you do. Being Canadian, we usually fly with American and Canadian airlines. There is absolutely no comparison; SG Airlines is superior to any North American airlines we have ever flown on from the meticulous service, cleanliness, meal service, and personalized attention in business class. I appreciate the rigorous training flight attendants go through. The airline staff is truly ambassadors of your country. We were very impressed by the diligent work ethic of Singaporeans. All airlines should have training programs like this. I am very sick and tired of paying good money and spending valuable time only to put up with the expected subpar service of most North American airline crew. Flying with Singaporean Airlines made me feel valued as a client. My husband and I will fly with you again!

@@avaongrq Thanks for your reply Ava. Sorry for the late reply, was busy preparing for the festivals =D. I used to be very curious about flight pattern / roster. How many flights you guys have in one month and how long is the layover. Know its different from airlines to airlines. I heard EK crew have only 24 hours layover for DXB-JFK or São Paulo. Brunei Airlines too. Despite the flight time from BWN-LHR is 14:30, crew only rests for one night. What about SQ crew? Also I really wonder how much night stop allowance will cabin crew usually bring home for different destinations (Say, previously for EK crew received 85usd for LAX, 106usd for IAH and 171euro for Dublin). Which destinations are crew’s favourite and least favourite because very little allowance =D. Any destinations all crew wanted to operate but the chances are rare and etc. Feel like so many things I wanted to know =D Thanks for your time. :) Happy CNY *an ex cabin crew wanna-be.

I have always said Singapore Airlines is supreme for one main reason: its people. I have always been impressed how immaculate the staff looked, plus they are friendly, professional---and some are so much fun. Feels like you made a friend in the sky. After watching this, I have an extra level of appreciation of how much the staff prepares so us customers can have a great experience. Incredible! Amazing!! Hats off!

I worked as a maid at a hotel where Singapore Airlines crew would stay here in Melbourne, Australia (Grand Hyatt, I don't know if they still stay there) I always remember the flight attendants would look so perfect, not a hair out of place. With those uniforms that look so lovely, they really looked so glamorous, I never forgot them!

Yes! I love singapore airlines cabin crew! They always make me feel so welcome, and they always look stunning! You and other cabin crew have really inspired me to become cabin crew, but I'm not 18 just yet😢 and my interest in aviation is very high! I've loved aviation ever since I was little because when I saw after every flight I would see my cabin crew and pilots, and I would think I just want to be like them when I'm older, and I still have that hope! Class apart from others? Are you delusional? I have stopped flying with these overated goons only because of their service of that dropped significantly. Try Qatar and you will know what is a class above others. Their air stewardess/steward are not passive, airheads like some of them from sia. When you request for smth, you will get it soon.

Hy AVA, i with the airlines for 21 years startfrom 1996 til 2014. I never regret resigning but i miss alot this kind of lifestyle. Life must goes on. We actually brave heart person because we face the fact that we win to ourselves coming out of our comfort zone. Things happen for reasons dear. At this currently with full of pandemic times, all airlines are affected same goes to us. But i was lucky i resign early. Never regret! move foward and at the end we will look foward happily ever after.

I am always impressed with the high service standards of Singapore airlines, so proud of your achievements. 😊

I am a flight attendant for a US carrier and I fly to Munich a lot and in 32 years I have taken a lot of pictures but I must say one if my favorites is me and ALL the SQ flight attendants in the hotel lobby..I am so proud of that picture….the cabin crew looked so beautiful and so poised…I often asked my friends..”which is the prettiest one?”…and they all say…ALL OF THEM🥰🥰🌈🌈🇵🇷🇵🇷…I hope you return to the skies soon🥰🥰🌈🌈🇵🇷🇵🇷

Years ago I was living in Cape Town South Africa, just when SIA started flying to South Africa. I was in a department store & a group of SIA flight attendants entered the store, everbody was mesmerised by their beauty, elegance & poise as they glided through the store, looking like wax dolls! First time I ever saw them in real life, unforgettable!🌸

Singapore Airline is the best airline for me!! After I flew Singapore Airline I don’t want to fly other airlines anymore. The cabin crews are really nice and kind. I would say the airline and cabin crews symbolize the idea of perfection and professional company.

All the best in your new career.Hope you enjoyed the Cherry ripe !!! you can get them in a smaller size in a bag.........maybe Amazon can supply them online , holy heck Tim Tams are $14.95 ? I hear Coles has struck a deal with a large Supermarket chain in Singapore to have a Coles produce only section , Macadamians ? yum!! I have travelled on Singapore airlines a couple times on the A380, love that plane. What I liked most was when I booked with Singapore airlines online I wanted to go upstairs .So I booked two seats in the lower deck and kept my eye on the top deck till a couple of seats became available , so I moved upstairs but I saw two seats by themselves which I wanted , a few days later they were vacant so i grabbed them, never been able to do that on any other airline.

Hi Ava! My dream is to become a Pilot, or a Flight attendant on SIA too, since I stay in Singapore too! I know it sounds weird but I actually have only a right hand as my left is kind of a stump, so maybe being a Pilot isn’t possible... but there’s always the Flight Attendant! My mom flew with SIA a few years ago on a business trip and she said the service was excellent. I have never flown with SIA before, only FlyScoot, but I do hope when COVID-19 gets better so I can fly Singapore Airlines for the first time! I hope that your coping well after switching your career, and I’m sure everyone on the SIA Cabin Crew misses you to this day! Take care Ava!

You have the BEST uniform its so beautiful and elegant.

As a child, I often flew because we got free tickets. And at some point I wanted to be a flight attendant and even applied, but there was one hurdle I couldn't overcome, and that was putting on makeup. I hate makeup and no matter what I used, I was allergic to it. That's why I had to give up this dream job, but I still enjoy flying with SQ 😉👍👍❤️❤️

Sure babe! Personally I think being exposed to the different climates and weathers overseas was really good for my skin and it was always so easy to maintain when I was flying. After coming back to SG permanently, my skin is extremely prone to having pimples now. But I'll definitely share about the skincare products I used when I was overseas :) Thank you for your comment!
