SINGAPORE AIRLINES A350 Economy Class Trip Report【SQ892 Singapore ✈ Hong Kong】
Hi there! Follow me on a flight with Singapore Airlines onboard their long-haul A350 Economy Class from Singapore to Hong Kong!
The flight was supposed to be operated by an A380. However, due to the ongoing heavy maintenance on some of the A380s, it was downgraded to a Boeing 777-300ER.
Subsequently, the aircraft was swapped at the last minute to an A350 due to aircraft maintenance.
All in all, Singapore Airlines did a great job in managing the flight delay by keeping everyone constantly updated and compensating passengers with a snack pack.

Nice review Isaac! I flew the return journey in January on the A380. It really is a bummer to be downgraded!

A380....to 777....to A350....I'm not sure whether they moved some of the passengers to other flights. I haven't tried SQ yet; but I just returned from a Scoot journey. You may check it out! Also it seems like the pilot is following a similar script as Scoot's.... Nice vid as always!

SQ handled the delay pretty well and quickly. All the passengers were simply swapped to the A350. Although the delay wasn't insanely long, I was just a little sad that I had lesser time to explore Hong Kong due to the delay. Thank you! 😊

Is the difference between the 350 and 380 that big comfort wise. I’m flying on the 350 later this year man to sin

I have not flown on SQ's A380 recently yet, so I'm not so sure what it's like. However, the A350 cabin was comfortable enough for me, and the engines weren't very noisy during the flight. Hope you have a great flight! 😊
Too Bad…….. Hope your return flight to SG will be an A380 or at least a 777.

@Swift24905 True, the A350 is quite a common sight nowadays when flying with SQ. Although the B777 cabin is slowly looking outdated, I'm glad to have the chance to fly on it again 😀
