I'm a polish-german guy and if I am being honest I really like it. Of course I prefer the polish lyrics because I grew up with the polish language but they did some really good work with those translations. From a slavic language to a germanic and still keeping the entire meaning of every single verse is really impressive.

Y in Polish is slightly more central vowel, for Polish ear you sounded like speaking i and y same time (like German ü ;) Just "umlaut" ü a bit more and it will be perfect en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Close-mid_central_unrounded_vowel Ó is the same as u. The rest was perfect. In case of "rolling r" if you can't make that sound, don't bother, many native speakers also can't, the rest also often speak it without a "thrill" in a less careful speech (we intuitively force ourselves to speak rolling r while speaking English or German and we sound Russian then LOL)

i like ukrainian and belarusian version of this song, but this german version is of really good quality - 3rd place, thank you very much! i hope native german speakers (not me) would really understand it using this transcription this is very emotional song, if performed bad - it won't make it. you just need to live it and you'll feel! it's not about some verses - it's the whole -- you need to feel it and it's very sad, unfortunately! p.s. it's very beautiful they performed chorus at the end in polish!
