Ok, everyone is mesmerized by the bass (and I agree) - But she has most dramatic, emotional, powerful vocal that I've ever heard on this song (like she tends to do anyway). But the rest of the band is always kick a** as usual.

There is actually 2 productions of the song. Flea came in after the demo as the first bass line was as quoted " that was weak..." yes Navarro and Tench also played their parts. It comes down to who knows who.

25 years in the music business. Produced well over 100 albums, singles, etc...I play a number of instruments and have played session work with some of the best...that damn bass player is a mofo with some serious chops. Everything on this cover is better than the original, including the lead vocal. Insane musical talent, solid recording skills, mad mixing and mastering...and about the only thing not in the studio is the Grammy you should be taking home. Seriously insanely good.

Studios and booths taking up over 13,000 sq/feet, engineers and mastering specialists who work for me...and I think the sound you are capturing, and the final product you are delivering is as good as anything we can deliver with our millions of dollars invested. There was a tough Adelaide band back in the day with sexiest front woman ever imo, Sioux City , Deb Brunotte. If I was Darren for a day I’d give her a guernsy. Alas I haven’t seen her for a few years but she was still gigging as Accoustic Blonde a few years ago. Last vid on her yt account was four years back.

Astonishingly good. Richer, deeper, and sung by Zkye with more passion (neigh, veiled venom mixed with just the right amount of subdued crazy) than the Morissette version, imho. Even 'knocked it out of the park' would say that you knocked that right out of the park and completely into orbit !

The bass is impressive! In fact, as usual, all of you are amazing! What a pleasure to listen to you!

Skye reminds me so much of Renee Geyer (RIP)! Very similar husky voice. Skye is very likely to be our greatest current female soul singer in Australia. Darren - how about considering a rendition of "Midnight Train to Georgia". I'm sure Skye would love to give it a go!

For the first time I listened through headphones . I highly recommend everyone does this. I was able to truly appreciate the bass line and drums. When I was a sound engineer I would always use headphones. The bass was exceptional. The vocal was a great rendition of the original. I would have loved a second guitar.
