you were actually really good, a little bit pitchy, but that's probably cuz of lack of confidence and proper breath support, nothing that can't be improved on. I love performing that song, i did a cover of that song with my friend a few years ago kzread.info/dash/bejne/l5-lmNOrZ6mrlag.html (i'm the tall one). My advice would be to take in what vocal coaches have to say and practice in a bathroom. don't be afraid to try different styles of singing. When you;re alone in the bathroom, sing your heart out, let the music guide you. Listen to singers that have a similar type of voice like you do, and try to mimic them first. Imitation is the best form of learning. Once you've dealt with that, your self-confidence should be high enough for your own style to emerge.

I've been working with an amazing coach, and just recently started feeling victorious like Tara talked about with you. You will do great things. Please continue to share your voice.

He definitely sounded more stable, less nervous, and stronger once he started adding that space and support. He sang better in seconds.

Definitely a beautiful soul with a voice that's equally beautiful. I feel we only heard maybe 15% of his full potential as a singer and I'm positive that when he finds full confidence that he could easily hold a crowd. So so much potential. Ivan please just truly & have belief and trust in you God Given talent and never give up because I could listen to you sing all the time. Tara I loved this!! Please keep them coming. Yes he had a noticeable improvement in his voice and confidence. I love how you re-established his relationship with singing and self loving when regarding his voice. Thank you for caring about the signers’ mental health because it can play a role in their overall self image.

Hi Tara, I am much like Ivan and found some of your reactions and find you such an intuitive coach! I work for an ambulance service within the UK, and mental distress is currently profound due to so much pressure. We've had colleagues die because of it. I have found my emotional outlet in singing and have been following your coaching and can already see a difference in my singing. You may not know, but even 'heroes' look up to you to what you do. :)

I have a similar journey to Ivan with your channel! I can't remember exactly when I first started watching you, but it was as a result of Cimorelli! I started watching them in the fall of 2018 and became obsessed! Haha and came across a vid of you reacting to them! And then I would sporadically look up your channel to see if you had more vids reacting to them! And it didn't take long for me to realize that you do the best reactions of any vocal coach on KZread! You provide so much insight and actually analyze technique! At some point I started to watch your channel for more than just Cimorelli reactions! Haha and like Ivan said, fell in love with your personality too! You have such a bright, shining, positive attitude! And I had the same reaction to Ivan's voice as you did! He said he was horrible, but then sang with very good pitch! Haha he definitely sang better in seconds even though he was already good! If he continues to work on improving his confidence and opening up more, he'll definitely continue to improve! I would love to be chosen for your next Sing Better in Seconds!

Your two pieces of advice, singing in a higher key and open up his mouth made a remarkable improvement. He tends to have a horizontal embouchure. He needs to develop the vertical embouchure we see at times in the video. People with small mouth tend to not have a horizontal embouchure. Many pop singers who seem to have a loud voice actually have small mouths.

i just saw you covered oceans. I would love for u to see "oceanos" by kemuel. it is the portuguese version of the song, sung by a gospel choir. i am sure you would love it

​@@hejalll I don't think she is shaming anybody to sing. People are not obliged to sing if they don;t want to. You can say no, she'll move to next and you won't appear in her video. No shame captured on camera! My opinion: in the streets or virtually, this is a great way to break the ice! It is something different and radom that can probably change someone's day! Just open up for the good things life gives us , man! I guarantee you will be a lot happier!

@@jedersonn.esilva4037 I disagree. She doesn't just accept a no. She'll continuously push them, which is especially bad when you have a camera in their face, as people will be even more anxious. She'll say stuff like "Oh but cmon it's so fun" suggesting you're not fun if you say no, or a time a guy just wanted to play Pokémon Go and she openly shamed him, laughing at the him for thinking he was too old to catch Pokémon. And she'll misunderstand non verbal clues, like people tone of voice. Someone who's timid or shy won't be won't be able to give her a hard no, which she in turn interprets as the person being doubtful, leading her to push for a yes even more, making the person even more anxious and uncomfortable. For me it's hard to watch. I don't understand why she wouldn't just ask off camera until she finds someone willing, then roll the camera. Or even better, something like this with her fans, could even do a meetup.

How do u get involved in the sing better in seconds because think it would really help me ?? Im performing in a Pantomime as Aladdin at the end of the year and im nervous about the singing part. The last time i sang on stage was 6 years ago when i could still sing soprano notes, but my voice has changed a lot since then and i dont know how ill sound
