Singing the opera in my past helped with the open mouth!

I'm still trying to fix the 4th one on high notes...I either sound to pinched and squeezed, or too open and Opera like. Lol I will keep working on it till it come more natural. Goals! Thank you so much for these videos, you are an amazing teacher, trainer, singer, and all around person! 🤗💜☮🎶

Love it. Singing is about becoming familiar with parts of the vocal chords play a part in. Become proficeint of positioning you vocal structure. Only you can learn to master those nooks and crannies that no one else has.

Thanks. I was trying to sing a few years ago for like 2 hours and I really found this ‘place’ I could sing from and it sounded so good, I impressed some women who got off a bus near me, and then my voice kinda broke and I never found that place again… until today

I have to thank you because this is the first time in my life I've gotten an A from singing in music class, we usually have the option to just have an exam and thats better for me personally, but we have to sing to get the final grade needed, and the teacher is pretty strict with the singing grades so thanks again, no music teacher I've ever had actually thought us anything about singing which is pretty weird

I have close to 600 videos and I teach a lot of technique that is seldom found online, and certainly not for free! I’m quite sure that my videos offer a lot more compared to trial and error. Why don’t you watch my full-length videos? There is only so much you can teach in under 60 seconds! 😄

I have taught TONS of musical theater singers, both contemporary and traditional. I teach singers to have a balanced default, from which they can shape into the vocal style and color that they want. I don’t teach singers to have only 1 sound (which is very limiting and boring, no matter what style).

​@@Victoria-Victorious Oh, what I said is more of a Joke among younger generations by saying "... left the chat" implying that someone does it differently / thinks differently. It was not meant as critic at all but rather I was just trying to say that many singers in modern musical style use the horizontal duck like sounding mouth shape to create that specific (childish sounding) musical sound that is commonly used these days, especially by Disney. So I was just pointing out that some people use the horizontal wide sound as a stylistic choice (I personally don't like it though)

Sure, I get it! I say that any sound is fine if that’s what you want and as long as it isn’t harmful. I help singers in just about any style. 😊

What about these choir singers with head tilted downward looking at thr hymn book. That restricts airflow 😐
