His pitch recognition isn’t the best but he has a nice tone and the vibrato! If he just worked on pitch he’d be great. 👍

He was so reluctant to sing, tried to flee for a few times, but he was unstoppable when he sang. Dying of laughter here!

"Sing that note an octave lower." That instruction seems pretty advanced to me. JohnJohn is probably used to that kind of singing lingo with Tara in the family. Such a fun video!

This was so funny and heart-warming! Are you sure he wasn't just messing with you PRETENDING he couldn't get the pitch right just because he thought you might let him out of it sooner lol? Because that vibrato moment and some of those notes were pretty pure -- i can tell you two have a history :) -- He's adorable but I'm glad your determination won out (towards the end of you trying to catch him I thought you were gonna have to tackle him or drop from the ceiling somewhere lol) -- and EXCUSE ME MISS TARA with that barbell moment at the end!

I wish he was more interested in singing, he has a pleasant voice. Clearly sang a lot better in seconds, great job both of you! Btw, you said to pick the right key; how do we do that? How can we pick the right key for any song we choose to sing?

probably somewhere comfortable, so when high and low notes come, we can do them reasonably well? No idea :D

@@roughrosa Thank you! I'm not a singer but we had obligatory music classes in college, where we were taught warm-up exercises and had to learn songs and play instruments. It was fun, the students didn't take the one hour weekly classes seriously, but my music teacher told me that I could sing decently. He told me to never stop practicing, I had the potential to hit good keys with proper warm-up and practice. I got busy with life after that, but I feel so inspired by these videos! So even though I don't like the sound of my voice, I'd love to try singing again. Your response will be much help! Thanks again!

I really relate to this. I have the hardest time hearing and matching pitch, staying in key, etc. I don't really know to work on that.
