Still my favorite piece to play, it is so epic and I love the harmony to it

I played this piece in Orchestra 51 years ago when I was in the 7th grade. The version we played was arranged for Jr. High School Orchestra. The version HERE is the way it was originally written.

I learned this in 6th, and I love it SO MUCH!!!

I had to sightread this at 1.5x speed. IT was AWESOME

We are playing this in school but like 10 times faster its a pain in the butt

My school just performed this at UIL and our concert got 2 1s and a 2😃

The Style of Telleman's music is equivalent to an advanced Rhetorical Analysis essay, the Crescendos and Decrescendos designate the connotations of the notes and speed, as well as tone.

This is awesome, it really helps with my upcoming concert!

Mr matthews is the best dude. Really music knowledgeable! He subbed for my teacher whenever she was out

I was chose out of a group of people as one of the best players in my class so I played this at state in first row, I miss playing the viola however life didn’t turnout that well for me after 6th grade lol I do miss it tho!

We played this a few times but since it was already played within the last four years, we can't play it in a concert. That sucks because it sounds so cool.

I learned this in 4th grade.. lord this takes me back

In my orchestra (string, percussion, brass and wind instruments) we played it and I play the cello, so i sat in the front and the one who sat beside me said this is like drùgs to play

Zen: Papa Stalin show off. Even though mine can too, maybe make the person feel a little bit better about playing this! Plus cellos have to hop 3 strings each measure lol I went from g to a, kinda hard when your playing this, but x7 faster...

I don't think it's really Telemann. Sounds like modern sttlization of general baroque style (a bit 'vivaldish'). The coda-like episode from 0:58 sounds like really from later time. And one chord in Largo is quite strange. And not a single modulation!

Do not compare this to Vivaldi. Vivaldi is literally one of the fathers of the Baroque era. This arrangement just sounds modern, and lyrical. This stands no chance against Vivaldi.

whenever i first heard/played this i thought that too, that it was very baroque and vivaldi ish and the music … it’s so beautiful sometimes it makes me cry

Im playing this except Im second violin and when Im the loudest if the other seconds I sound like i know everything... I think I was moved to second violin to let the others have a chance of high notes but LET ME GET BACK TO FIRST VIOLINNN
