Sinew of War - Konor and the Coin || Voice Over

Ойын-сауық

A companion video of sorts to the 'Death of Konor' video, and a moment that not only shows us a Primarch as a child and how complex that existence is but also adds so much weight to the later death her has to witness.

I think it was Russ who took a shot at Rob about every world he took over, he left another Macragge behind. Once you learn how much Konor meant to Rob, you see why Rob does this. Each world is a tribute to his father.

The Emperor may be his father, but Konor is his daddy.

Even now, Guilliman still has the coin. But he still doesn't break it. Not because he was weak, because he was strong enough to spare it and let it remind him of what he fights for.

In honor of Konor! We march for Macragge! I feel for Guilliman here. What my father taught and instilled in me will always remain with me as well. In that way he will never truly die.

Guilliman is definitely one of the best and most humane Primarchs. This excerpt perfectly shows how important a proper upbringing and loving parents are to a Primarch's psyche, and in that, Konor Guilliman and Tarasha Euten performed superbly👏 I can't even imagime the level of stress and frustration a logical and level-headed Primarch such as him is suffering from in an era ruled by fanaticism, superstition, fear and ignorance. Yet, he's definitely the right man to fix the chaotic Imperial bureaucracy and restore a sense of hope to the mankind.

Yeah but then you got Primarchs like Perturabo that had an equally good, if not slightly better, upbringing and still turned into a whiney douche.

Thank you for recording this. People need to listen to this to understand Roboute Guilliman. Konor Guilliman is one of the most important humans in 40K history and we know almost nothing about him. He and Tarasha Euten are responsible for the raising of one of the greatest Primarchs who is now ruling the Empire.

Gulliman is the true hero of the imperium because he’s the most human because he wasn’t raised to. Be a super hero he was raised to be a man and for who he was. It’s what makes him well him

Guilliman is my favorite primarch without a doubt and a lot of it has to do with how grounded he can feel in a moments like this or with Momma Guilly. Other times he hits the nerd rage button and punches dudes heads off. I love the dichotomy. Great job with the reading thank you for your hard work!

I have been looking for a voice over for this ever since I saw it in a short someone made. This moment is such a wonderful moment and so humanizing for Guilliman. It's moments like this that make it easy to see how Guilliman was one of, if not the most well adjust primarch of his brothers. Excellent work

I’ve had a lot of trouble getting to the point where I legitimately like any of the Primarks… It’s just been so hard to find very much humanity within them. This right here though, just made me a fan of rowboat Girlyman. Extra: and yes I know about Vulcan and his endless compassion as well as Sanguineous but they seemed even at their weakest to be more than what we could aspire to be. However this, this realization and dread, coming to terms with a parents mortality… This hits right the fuck at home.

A wonderful illumination of Roboute's boyhood years, and how he dealt with the corruption that riddled his home and the divide of mortality that existed between him and his adoptive father, Konor. With the Lord Consul imparting a message onto his foster son that I truly hope has staid with him, even into the Grimm Darkness of the 21st Millenium.

Love your work bro. Though can I ask if you can do some inquisition(Eisenhorn) work as a lot of your stuff seems to revolve a lot around space marines and the primarchs which is really cool and all of your except readings are beautifully done. but I would really like to see some work that gravitates more towards that area of 40K lore.
