Some human beings on earth are deeply eager to see elephants live but these backward kids of third class mentality seems unrespectful of these group of elephants... So sad to see how we humans disrespect nature, not just in Assam but everywhere. We take over so much of the land where animals once roamed freely. Here in the UK we are amongst the worst humans to nature, we have long since eradicated the top species, the bear, the lynx, the wolf - all gone centuries ago. Today our farmers persecute badgers, beavers, foxes, antelope, wild boar and spray chemicals that are banned in the Europe which kill the insects that birds need to raise their young. Thank you for sharing this video, it allows me a moment to think of these poor elephants.

Don’t you know how EXPENSIVE a TEA farm is? Those fields worth millions of dollars , they represent a large sum of income for these farmers. They have to protect it from elephants trampling or eating the tea leaves.
