i have for some completely unknown reason taken math on for an attempt at getting into a engineering bachelor at 62. These videos are helping me get in deeper and deeper. Thankyou ..i think? Seriously great tutorial 👍
Your explanations are so much more understandable than my teacher's explanation. Thanks a lot for all your help! ;)

Sir I still don't understand how matrices work and I am about to face my exam
Gordon ramsay teaching maths-????
Thank you! I'm doing machine learning and we're right at the beginning, doing linear regressions and such, and we've gotten to the point where we're using normal equations to solve for the model parameters using matrices. I hadn't touched matrices in years really so I was really fuzzy on the mechanics. I appreciate the brush-up :)

11 years later this video is still doing wonders :) Thank you for the explanation, your videos about matrices will be very useful on my linear algebra exam
Wow.... So easy to understand..I've really grasped the idea easily. Am thankful
Great stuff mate thank you, it would be nice if you went a tiny bit slower but it is still better than 99% of the videos out there. Keep it up! :)
If for the values that switch would their signs switch as well. And if the signs that switch, what would happen if there is no sign to swap around
I have seen the video but it is wonderful may God bless you with more years
Thanks allot, your explanation is so clear May d almighty bless d work of yr hand
Well done and good luck at uni.

great exlplanation thank you very much
Thanks for this 😊
So what if our equation was a singular matrix, we couldn't find the values of x and y then?
Thank you Sir. this helps alot.
This tutorial was really useful
Thanks so much Ur really good
You’re the lifesaver
When changing A into inverse , weren't you supposed to change signs of the major diagonal?
Me and my friend here struggling in class , this is very helpful🙏🙏🙏
Well grasped legend
Thank you - Brilliant Your video helped me to understand the concept in python :) import numpy as np A = np.array([[5,-2],[7,6]]) c = np.array([[16],[-4]]) print(np.linalg.inv(A).dot(c))
great video I understood the textbook but I need to see it worked through and you provided it perfectly.

I don't know why but I chose to take Additional maths when l am already terrible in normal math but this might have helped me 😅😢🎉😂❤.
excellent!
very helpful
explained it better than my teacher thanks
can you please do one for matrices with no solutions, one solution, infinite solutions when there is an unknown constant in the square matrix!
Thank you I did it 😊
Helpful
Thank you sir
Thank you❤
Nice clear videos. I have done the same for university level on my channel.

What does IYMS stands for?
@meganthompson x=3 y=7. I did it lots of different ways, matrix method as Mr S demonstrated works out.

Thanks a looot❤️❤️❤️❤️
What a legend
I followed step by step and still got, -10.7 , -9.6 for 2x + 3y = 18 3x + y = 13 The answer is supposed to be 3, 4 Idk how I got mine…….
Thank you so much, sir!

ExamSolutions Sir is it possible to have a simulataneous equations that cannot be solved by matrices which has no solutions, one solution, infinite solutions and where there is an unknown constant in the square matrix? Finally can there be imaginary roots for matrix equations?
@Playlist_Two
2 жыл бұрын
Not all pairs of simultaneous linear equations have solutions: If the equations are inconsistent, (their graphs are parallel and thus do not cross) or, if the equations are dependent, (the graphs coincide and thus do not cross at a single point) the determinant will be zero. If the determinant is zero, there will not be a solution. I know this answer is literally 7 years too late but someone else peeping the comments might be interested. 🤣

Hi, I was just wondering, when I tried this out before you explained it, it did (16, -4)*(inverse) but this obviously didn't work. Is it always the case that the inverse comes before the matrix you're multiplying? Thanks for such great videos by the way! :D
@lamaa.3232

Yes, inverse always comes first
