I read his memoir and I related to his story so much. He painted a beautiful picture of his life and his parents lives! Definitely cried a few times, highly recommend everyone to read or get the audiobook because it’s a different experience hearing the vulnerability in his voice when he discusses certain chapters. 💕

Simu mentions ' you're killing it' as a guest host. Of course she is a veteran talk show host. At the end... She shows her schtick by, Unlike Jimmy, she actually let's Simu tell a full story

Just finished the last page of the book. Laughed, smiled and cried as I read…Such a beautiful story, heart wrenching in lots of places, but ultimately so courageous, so tender, and satisfying! Thank you, Simu!

I kinda laughed when he said she was killing it a co host as I enjoyed her talk show Chelsea Lately. She always has been a great interviewer. Simu is such a sweet guy & we are quite proud of him here in Canada.

He never fails to be witty and charming for every interview.

He's so cute and charming 🥰

As a Canadian my view of Simu is SOOO different. I know him from Kim’s Convenience which was a massive show in Canada and not as a marvel hero

Chelsea is amazing as an interviewer, rarely interrupts him. This could have easily gone to an hour with all his stories, too bad.

This guy is such a sweetheart. And great interview. Love that Chelsea lets him talk, she's not trying to make everybody laugh every 5 seconds or make it about her, like some others do. (Not talking about Kimmel, but they do share the same first name.)

I don’t think Colbert is like that. He usually has well seasoned guests on who know how to interview but he will help them out, just is Jimmy Kimmel will when Diana real gets boring Oregon real them back in a little bit. I have definitely noticed that Fallon does cut them off. And to be fair, you would have to do that as an interviewer to be any good, you only have a limited amount of time to interview and get the questions out that you want answered.

I actually didn’t like how she leads with her questions. She tells the meatiest part of the story and then asked the guests for the details. She should instead ask- how did you try to find acting roles before your big break. Or something like that. It would have been a more interesting way to find out about Simu using Craigslist. And how she blurted out that he met Spider-Man when he first came to Hollywood. How about let him say who the first super hero or celebrity was?
