@@kaudsiz yeh but But don't forget millions of Couples have separated but never got a divorce. For you see the only way for a divorce to be completed for both parties to sign, And besides when you divorce you can loose so much.

The first episode where homer and marge get divorced is my least fav out of the whole show, it's oddly bitter and spiteful compared to most of the others

Why/how did Marge divorce Homer

Oh, yeah. I don't like this episode but somehow I also like it.

You know i would've call this the best episode ever marge finally breaking up with homer and divorcing him and dating someone who deserves her better and who could've been a better father homer ever and homer would be left with nothing

Not gonna lie, but a Simpsons episode where Homer and Marge DO break up without the "it was all just a dream" trope and the jokes on divorced marriages actually would've worked for a Simpsons episode like this. So we can all see what would Homer and Marge's lives both be like without each other as they try to get new dates as even how it affects the other Simpson family members as well too.
