Thanks coach bob Last year I went from Kansas to Idaho and at my age 63 I almost had heat stroke. I did that ride without a jacket. My jacket has mesh thru the body buy not in the arms. Going down to my motorcycle shop tomorrow and pick one up

Funny; there’s a bit of synchronicity going on here. Earlier today I ordered an Icon Mesh AF CE jacket because I get too darn hot riding in the SoCal desert. It’s pretty thin, but riding a Spyder, I’m less worried about the trike sliding out from under me. Also, we’re getting ready to move to Tennessee, and I remember Southern summers as a boy, so I have no doubt this jacket will come in handy. All that said, your new jacket looks great on you, and I really dig the color.

Thanks for making a video for a summer jacket. I have been looking at different jackets and so many to choose from, I have been riding with a Sedici jacket as my winter time jacket and love it but way to hot for the summer time. Now I will compare the Sedici and Dainese jackets they both are same price I just wish my local Cycle gear sold them so I can try them on makes it a pain when you can't and they don't use S-xl sizing. I know you don't want your jackets big they to need fit right. Thanks again for the video. Enjoy that Florida weather and they beautiful road ways you travel in the videos.

Same here. Over in the Spring area of Houston and Ive been searching for the right jacket for this insane heat & humidity. Plus getting stuck at some of the red lights or gridlock traffic makes riding no fun. A few other jackets that look good are the Quantum Air & Contra 2. Will be hitting up the CG in Katy today to try these out. Which did you end up going with?

Need a summer jacket. Tried an Icon Mesh AF jacket, and don’t like the snaps-not as form-fitting as Velcro, and looks crappy. I’ll try one of these, and it does look good on you. Besides, as an old Georgia boy coming from a military family, I’m partial to that Army green drab on the shoulders. I’m riding in SoCal, but we’re moving back to Jackson, TN, where it’s a lot more muggy. I’ll need something like this big-time when I return to the South! I’ll miss the desert and the ocean, but I won’t miss the politics and the taxes.

@@CoachBob3 what glove do you recommend from dainese? And how do the size run? I wear 7.5 (usa size) in nitrile medical/clean room gloves and a medium in "mechanix" cheapo gloves. Please advise. Thx! I will be using it to ride an electric bike

I have been asking that question for years, working on the RR we learned that standing inside the rails was ten degrees hotter then standing on the outside because of the black ties, I dont get a black jacket in the summer! If you're ridding like in the vid it wont matter(country ride in shaded area, try that in the city with the sun beating down on ya and that jacket will be as hot as black leather.

They do offer other colorations.. for me... the black has not posed a "heat issue". As Wayne mentioned.. visibility is always an issue with darker colors. Motorcycle pants and jackets are historically darker to cover the "dirt and oil" associated with riding. I will say regardless of color, it is till by far, the "coolest"(temp wise...not looks) jacket I have ever owned. Thanks for watching!!! 👍🏍🛵😎

The science says yes.. my brain says no... It is odd when you feel how light they are. I have seen crash tests and while there is better armor... This works better than I had ever imagined it would. Thanks for watching!!! 👍🏍🛵😎

You are the “Jacket King”! Do you find the darker colors to be hotter than the lighter colors? Looks great Coach! Well you’re slim-ish anyway. I’m 29lbs lighter and still have 12-pack abs!

So far with this jacket... the color isn't and issue. Historically, I have found, the number one heat mitigator is air flow. You're an awesome fella!!! Did buy that new MotorCycle yet??? Thanks for watching!!! 👍🏍🛵😎

I just tried on a size 52 in this jacket and the arm seems too long making the pads go pass my elbow :( Also felt too short and bad for conceal carry at the waist

Coach Vic may be a little bias of how that jacket looks on you lol after saying that it is hard to find a jacket that fits, functions like you want, and provides protection.
